Yes, total domination by the Rebels. The defense did a terrific job, 4 fumble recoverys and one interception. If the saying "defense wins championships" holds true, we look to be in great shape. I haven't a clue to answer this question, I am not real familiar with either program. However, the old saying goes "if it don't kill you, it only makes you stronger", no better way to prepare for the playoffs than the atmosphere of a big time rivalry game. I think they should just play the game and have both teams benefit from the valuable experience they each get. One game, win or lose, don't make a season.

I think BC will be okay in this one. French will have the Rebels prepared and it will be up to the team to execute, which they have done all season. I will say BC 35 MC 14

Nice job Rebels, great to see our offense was clicking again, and we did this with Jordan Aumiller on the sideline, whom we should have back for the Mercer County game. The option kind of surprised us in the first quarter, but after a few adjustments by the defense it was total domination. Good job Rebels, now lets come out and punch the Titans in the mouth Friday night and keep this train rollin' on to State.

This was another mediocre team at best that Danville had to pull out in the 2nd half. If Danville wants to make a serious run at another State title, they are going to have to learn to play an entire game. Waiting until the 2nd half to turn it on could prove to be costly for the Ads once they get into about the 2nd-3rd round of the playoffs. Congratulations Ads, and good luck against Russellville next week, which should be a much stiffer challenge than they have faced since GRC 3 weeks ago.

I doubt it very seriously, but everyone's entitled to an opinion.

I am also convinced the Rebels are back, win or lose. I think last weeks letdown against Lafayette was expected by most with the game being between Danville and Catholic, and we did get the win. Coach French and the staff have the Rebels playing good solid football with a defense that is playing great. I think the Rebels pull this one out thanks to another solid outing by the D. Once again, I think we'll need to control clock with another good performance from MacSherra on the ground to keep Catholics high powered offense off the field. We will also need to limit our turnovers and penalties. This game has huge implications with the winner more than likely having home field advantage in the playoffs. Boyle Co. 21 Lex.Catholic 14
