  1. I'll go wirh GRC in a close one. Probably 7 points or less.
  2. I'll say... Colerain 34 Highlands 20 Good luck Bluebirds...
  3. My prediction is.. Boyle Co. 35 Henry Clay 20 Go Rebels..
  4. Sounds like Mercer committed a lot of costly mistakes. Congratulations to Madison Central.
  5. Fantastic PICS. Congratulations Birds, looks like you are a force to be reckoned with.
  6. I look forward to this one. Henry Clay has a beautiful, state of the art facility. I can't make my prediction this early, I will wait for now. The Rebels should come in with a lot of confidence and H. C will come in with a chip on their shoulder after the loss to B.G. Should be a good one. Go Rebels...
  7. Good game turned in by Phillip Mason at QB , he spread the ball out to several different receivers, and was involved in what turned ino a very effective night running the football. It was just overall domination by the rebels, The kicking games was supberb. Made all 7 PAT's and booted all but one kickoffs into the endzone. Very important in the battle for field position. I was very impressed, good job Rebels. Good luck with Henry Clay. Go Rebels!!!!!!!!!
  8. No problem for the Ads. Danville 47 Russell Co 12
  9. Boyle Co. 28 Warren Central 13 I like the Rebels in this one.
  10. I did not see the game, or have I heard anything about it other than what modok shared in the previous post. By the way, thanks Modok for the information. I'm sure Danville will be fine by seasons end, and probably earlier than that. Coach Harp always seems to work his magic. We'll see. On the other hand, I don't feel as confident about Mercer Co., as they are playing with the big boys (5A) now.
  11. I wasn't able to make it but I hear the defense had a good and the offense was pretty good too. It could have benn 32-0, we had one TD called back for offensive holding. My report says the kids are playing more like a unit, gang tackling and all the little things I also hear that next weeks game with Warren Central at WKU Stadium has been moved to Warren Central High School instead of WKU Stadium. Anybody have any news on that? That will be a bummer.
  12. From what I have seen, the kid has a ton of talent and little heart. He doesn't play every play like it's meaningful. I guess if he really applied himself he could potentially be a D1 impact player.
  13. Nice Breakdown, If all this does come to pass with Goldsmith and Macon, what a combination with Aumiller in the mix. I've got my fingers crossed.
  14. I too, am excited about Boyle Football for the first time in the last 3 years. I hope the whole Goldsmith thing works out too, because it would no doubt benefit the Rebels immensely. However, it will not be a season maker or breaker should it not. I feel really good about our returning players and the return of some players that saw significant time as Sophomores (Ben Slone, Dre Cox, Jordan Walker) but sit out last season for whatever reason. The future looks bright as well with some really good sophomores this season. We will be a senior dominated team this year with lots of experience, I hope these Seniors seize their moment. I feel like this team is poised to make some real noise. As for the artificial turf, that would be really nice but would take some pretty significant donations to get it done. I would make my donation but wouldn't consider it to be significant. Go Rebels..
  15. French@Boyle County Of course I'm a little biased, but if past success is any indicator of future results, this has to be one of the best if not the best hire of this off season.
  16. This is a good hire for BC. I couldn't be happier. I believe we got a great coach with a successful track record. Congratulations BC and to Steve Burkich (superintendant), Jim Spears (AD), and Elmer Thomas (principal) for getting the deal "done"..:thumb:
  17. As stated in the first thread about the BC job vacancy 3 weeks ago (prior to the whole Guy Morris thing), Larry French is at the top of my wish list. Yes we will give him the full support of the administration, fans, and community. I can't say that we are spoiled brats, we have been slapped back into reality under Pardue's watch. There was so may kids who quit, or didn't go out because of the coach. I just feel coach French is the perfect guy to restore respectability to our program. I don't know about other Rebel fans, but to expect the kind of success that Coach Smith had is absurd. Most of us realize how magical of a run that was. So if you're reading coach French, come on over and you will be accepted and loved by about 25,000 people at least. Football is "King" in TitleTown and we're not afraid to admit it.
  18. I agree with Hatz, I think the Rebels need to try and lure a successful established coach outside the current system. Who that would be, I have no idea. Larry French from Lincoln Co. is high on my wish list. What a job he has done for the Patriots. It seems like the kids love playing for him. Who knows, maybe coach Harp-(Danville) pulls a Benedict Pitino and comes to the West side. No, I'm just kidding. Thought this would be a good time to take a swing at coach Pitino. Go Cats!
  19. Congrats to Marion, you guys just keep rolling. However, you should be tested in the next few weeks by Anderson Couny and Green County
  20. Nice job Maroons. You guys have a good team this year, and I can say that I am glad you're not in 4A.
  21. Sounds like this was a great game. Congrats to Hopkinsville and we'll see you Titans next week.
  22. Good job Ads, looks like you should have your district sewed up if you take care of business against Washington County in a couple of weeks. Good luck next week against Russellville. They are a good team, and the Ads will play them in Russellville. Should be a good game.
  23. We are still here "chenowith", at leat I am. Hopefully this will be the start of a 5 game winning streak and give us some much needed momentum going into the playoffs. Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. Good job by Cole Stevens running the ball tonight. I though Jacob Smith also did a nice job at quarterback. Good job Rebels. Now lets focus on Mercer and get some revenge.
  24. A 2-8 regular season with one of those 2 wins being a district win would get the Rebels into the playoffs and a shot at the big prize. You have to agree once in the playoffs, they will not face any better competition than what they have played throughout the regular season. It's all about November.
