Sounds good to me RebelK. Maybe we could start with a few emails as an initial reminder, and then check for any progress in the spring. Do you know any email addresses? Any other Rebel fans wish to join this illustrious committee?

Congratulations to the Ads. What a big win, and a big win by Bethlehem giving you guys home field advantage. Good luck the rest of the way

Congratulations Titans, you are almost half way there. Good Luck the rest of the way.

Congratulation to PSW, you earned the W tonight. What a ballgame. I am very proud of the Rebel seniors, and the entire team. I am already looking forward to next year and seeing all these young guys develope. It was a tough year for us, but the Rebels will be a contender for the Region again next year, and maybe "State". If anyone from the Boyle Co. Athletici Department or Board of Education reads this thread, you are officially on notice. We will be having our first home game of "07" in about 275 days, please make sure our field is ready. Do whatever it takes.

Either you have bumped your head, or you don't know much about Boyle Co. football. Whichever it is, I can assure you the game will be much closer than that. Does anyone know, on what radio staion in Somerset can you listen to the game?

Mercer Co. vs Newport thoughts and predictions...

I think the Titans keep rolling with another convincing win, and continue to prove why they are the team to beat in 2A this year. Mercer 42 Newport 6 -
Highlands at Covington Catholic (Playoffs) - Predictions

See, that's what I love about this site. You get so much information that would otherwise be unavailable to most fans outside the local areas. Regardless of being played on Friday or Saturday, I will stick with CCH in a close one. -
Yeah, I had several layers of clothes on and was still a bit uncomfortable.

I guess i should be ready to place my bets then, huh? -
Thanks, I didn't know that. Makes sense though, since Bardstown is undefeated.

Male vs St. X Predictions (Poll)
Rebel88 replied to fballman007's topic in KY Football (High School)
I think St. X will avenge their earlier loss to Male in convincing fashion. St. X 28 Male 17 -
Yeap, what a surprise. Lafayette must feel like they just got blindsideded by a hard left hook, followed by a deadly uppercut. Congratulations to the Generals on an outstanding regular season. Let this bitter taste in your mouths right now serve as a positive motivation tool for next year. Nice job Jackets, good luck against HC....

Highlands at Covington Catholic (Playoffs) - Predictions

I think CCH wins what will possibly be the closest game played this Friday night. -
Thanks for your vote of confidence...

I look for this to be a very close and hard fought game. The Rebels defense should keep them close to where they will have their oppurtunities to take destiny in their own hands. All of those sophomares that have been playing for the Rebels all year, are essentially Juniors know. I think that coupled with the solid senior leadership that has surfaced since our last meeting with the Warriors, will be enough to send the Rebels playing at home for game 3 of the playoffs. I think this score will be similar to the first game with the outcome being different. Boyle 28 SW 20

Danville and Boyle County face very similar circumstances this year, trying to avenge an earlier district loss that caused them the home field advantage throughout the playoffs. I think both the Ads and the Rebels will be playing back in Title Town for game 3 of the playoffs. From what I hear, the extended forecast is calling for dry conditions Friday with the high being in the 60's. Good luck Ads.
-
Good job Titans, keep the train rolling.
-
I think the extended forecast has the predicted high temperature for Friday is in the mid 60's with dry conditions. Of course, that is subject to change any minute.

Way to go Rebels on a hard fought victory in some very cold temps.. I thought overall the Rebels played a solid game. Man it feels good to be back over .500 again. The Rebels have a nice 5 game winning streak going. Lets keep that momentum rolling on into next week. Go Rebels!!!!!

Looks like the Rebels start the playoffs against a tough Marion Co. team. If Boyle takes care of business, they should be fine. I look for another defensive struggle between these two. I will say.... Boyle Co. 20 Marion 12

Trimble vs. Danville 1st round
Rebel88 replied to OLDSKOOLPLAYMAKR's topic in KY Football (High School)
Danville big... Danville 56 Trimble 6 -
Good job Rebels. This turned out to be a very close game that wasn't secured until an interception by Jacob Enlow at the Rebel 4 yard line with 3 seconds remaining in the game. I hope we have much better weather for our remaining playoff games, becauise as Dadypete said, "we aren't very good mudders".
