I think Lincoln County would be 3-3, too, with Garrard County's schedule. Winning the same games and losing the same games as the Golden Lions.

 

Lincoln County is going to have to dig deep to find the heart and pride to play to win.

The question is how healthy are the Patriots,that will go a long way in who wins. I say the Patriots 35-34 in a thriller if some of the Pats front line players are back.

Thanks for that bit of history from the Lincoln side. Lincoln County ranks third on the list of all-time played for Garrard County, behind only Harrodsburg (35 meetings) and Boyle County (27 meetings). Along with that, only Boyle County (18) and Harrodsburg (24) have beat Garrard County more times than Lincoln.

 

Perhaps in a testament to the Golden Lions struggles with the Patriots over the years, there are 11 other schools that Garrard has beat more than Lincoln County. Included in that list are (with number of wins in parentheses):

To make matters worse, Garrard County was 1-9 in 10 all-time meetings with the old Stanford High School prior to consolidation in 1974!
