What does this thread have to do with Male? I was commenting on Butler. Teams improve as the season rolls along. That Southern Indiana team could beat Trinity. I have seen them. They are very solid, but to be fair I have not seen the Rocks.

Praying for comfort for the family, I hate hearing about this.

Pep, Butler could beat any team in the 6A.

We didn't lose to Butler Post #5.. Floyd Central won tonite they are 3-0. Male fumbles on the first play of the game, led to an easy 6 for the Warriers. Male fumbles later ball rolls into the end zone for another easy (real easy) score. 12-0. Male hits a field goal. 12-3 Male has first and goal on Western 10, but fails in three tries , goes for a short field goal looks good but Ref said wide right. Very good kicker for Male, but I couldn't tell from my seat, 12-6 no still 12-3. Next play with 6 minutes remaining, Western back goes for 40 yards, and they score real late and missed their extra point. 18-3. Western has a very quick defense that ran with Male. They also are very solid in both lines, and two nice backs. Qb did a fine job too. Give them credit. Coach Boyd had them ready. You cannot have 4 turnovers in a close game and win.

Male has added a new entrance, it bow shaped purple and gold with Veteran's Memorial Stadium at the top. Its deicated to the Male grads who have served in the Armed Forces. A very nice gesture. I'll try to post a picture if I can find a son to do it. Bleachers are OK, field needs water and better paint for the yardlines. Very nice food.

Maybe he has stock in Crows? :idunno: Looking forward in seeing him back on. :banana:

Everybody puts there pants on the same. Its still a game and they will be played. I can only speak for the team I know the most about,,, Male, and no one is afraid of the Rocks and looks forward in playing them...Same as the Jvs and Freshmen.

Love to see you sometime this year at our Freshman game. (Male) We also have a very good team.

Thename, I don't think at all he was completly serious on his comments, sometimes people say/do things just to get a reaction, kinda like my 14 year old son.

Ballard used eight Sophomores and one Freshman. Can't blame them for wanting to play agame of this magnatude at PaPaJohns. They want to get ready for games more important later in the season. Some of these comments are disappointing to me as a fan of high school football. How many posters coached at the high school head coach level? And thats all I'm gonna say about that.

One returning starter on Offense and two on defense. Butler scored after a fake punt gave them a first down and a Personal foul on a DB, coaches were hot at the ref, I couldnt tell, Male also had a first and goal at the one and fumbled and lost the ball, score could have been at least 20-3, but it wasn't. Butler has a very good defense and is well coached. It was also their opening game. Xgrad baby teeth? :idunno:

Great point, welcome to the site. Also mention the parents. Dad's who hold the chains which you mentioned, and at our school just like others many Moms are fixing pre games meals and snacks. During our summer camps the boys had fruit and water drinks. Team moms with the emails in letting folks know what is going on. The support group (field caregivers) (spotters for the announcer) and the program add/sellers folks.

So, I think we didn't mention the guys who block for Kyle did we? Might be an important fact we have not touched on. Now if its just Kyle against these two bad boys you guys might have a point....I stand by my statement. Kyle plays Providence on friday.

Male plays Boone County Varsity September 16th, but of course the JVs/Freshman don't get to meet.

Yep, Polls mean so much in High School football. Male has three total returning starters, if they are ranked ahead of any team, they didn't get the info.

Try 790 AM or 101.7 FM. Its from a statewide feed and they did it last year.

I like those guys, I enjoy reading them and like Tony said they have a lot of passion for their team, and not CROW too much. Good Luck to the Tigers ths week.

Sounds like this Byrnes team is hitting on all pistons early in the year, Ballard could win and I think they will, even though I know nothing about Byrnes. Its a long bus ride.
