I have seen Byrnes play on ESPN the past few seasons. If they are anyway close to their past teams it will be a long night for Ballard and their loud mouth assistants in the press box.

Wow.. sorry our assistants are 'loud-mouthed' -- not sure if that means they talk loudly while communicating with us via headsets, but I'm on the other end with them and if they yelled I would be upset cause my ears would hurt.

 

The two coaches we have up there are about the most 'mild-mannered' guys on our staff. Glad we didn't choose a couple of our more 'vocal/intense' coaches up there!

 

As to what REALLY matters, Byrnes is REALLY freakin good. I don't think I'll make a prediction on here other than we'll need to play a VERY sound football game to have a chance (of course, it's like that with every other game on our schedule).

If Ballard could pull off this upset it would be mean every bit as much (more) for KY football as any of the out-of-state games T plays or X's game against Riverdale. I am pulling for Ballard 100%, but I think they will be at least 5 TDs shy.

Everyone in KY should be on the Ballard Bandwagon this week. I know I will be pulling strong for Coach Jackson and the Bruins but my head says it will be a loss.

Sounds like this Byrnes team is hitting on all pistons early in the year, Ballard could win and I think they will, even though I know nothing about Byrnes. Its a long bus ride.
