Radio post game shows ?

Last year driving back from a few of the away games I found a radio call in show recapping the statewide action from the nights games.

 

I'm in the Louisville market (Oldham Co.)

Didn't know if it was still out there or any others.

Listened to the state recap on WLAP (AM 630) out of Lexington on my way back from the Boyle-HHS game last Friday night.

WPBK 102.9 from Stanford has done a nice scoreboard show for a few years and I'm assuming they still do. They sometimes have local newspaper guys call in from the game they covered and then they also take calls from the audience. If they aren't doing it this year its news to me.

Try 790 AM or 101.7 FM. Its from a statewide feed and they did it last year.

It is still on and is hosted by Phil Pendleton of WKYT-WYMT. The first show will be September 2nd due the lateness of the Death Valley Bowl double-header last week and most of the local teams being in Saturday games this week. In addtion to newspaper reporters, we also feature area coaches (Lincoln, Boyle, Danville, Garrard, Casey, Mercer, Pulaski, Rockcastle, etc.).
