How many district finals have you officiated?

They seniors at Bracken have done a great job, despite having 3 coaches in their 4 years. Very competive in all but one game. No matter how down Pendleton is shouldn't they still win this game? They almost have more per class than Bracken does in their entire school.

Just to be clear, the running back you're speaking of is Walker?

That will be a huge loss for Dayton. How did he break his hand?

Bracken Co. wins by controlling the clock with their running game and with a tough defense.

I don't think you can go by the amount of games played. Some small schools do not need to play that many games, because they may not have the pitching to do so. I think you could go by how the program is ran and the amount of support the school gives the baseball program.

Got to give credit to Bracken Co. too, they played very well in both games. Tonight they got a complete game 2 hitter from Zack Williams. Eli Florer was 3-3, RBI, 2B, 2 R, Josh Cummins 2-3, 2 R, 2B; Conner Rigg 2-4, R, with Williams and Jarrett Moore each getting a hit and a RBI.

Pretty well played game.

They would not have play during the regular season.

Whats happening now?

While East Carter did lose a great player in Tyler Jackson, they will still be very strong.

Johnson County (Johnson Central), Paintsville, Belfry, Allen Central and Martin County (Sheldon Clark) have middle school teams in eastern Kentucky as well as Adams (Prestonsburg feeder) and Mountain Christian Academy. It is a spring sport typically for grades 6-8 but some schools allow as young as 3rd or 4th grade I believe. Since it's a spring sport, it competes for players with high school softball.

Richie Phares and Jacob Jenkins. Phares would be more of a help to the team with his size.

Around a 30 min. delay because of fog after the 3rd inning. Started the game again and more fog came. 6th and top of 7th you couldnt see the outfielders. A lot of errors by Greenup.
