Newport at Dayton: Predictions
I would look for a close game. Newport has been playing well as of late and with their record this year, pride will be a motivating factor. Dayton has already secured the #2 position in the playoffs. Surely, they would look to work on some new things, stay healthy and prepare for Bellevue in the first round. With that said, I take Dayton 27, Newport 20

Bellevue @ Gallatin Co.: Predictions
I agree. If there is going to be any problems, it will come from the pressure from parents. Hopefully, Coach Browning has the support of the administration in these kinds of matters.

Beechwood/Bellevue predictions
:thumb: I don't usually agree with you Futurecoach because I am a Bellevue supporter. However you are right on the money with this one. What most people really take for granted is that the "little river schools" have a little community. Bellevue, Dayton and Ludlow are all about one mile square as far as their district goes and that limits the talent that you draw from. When compared to likes of Beechwood, NCC and others, the little river schools are at times severely outmanned. I would love to know how big an area some of the more prosperous schools draw from!

Beechwood/Bellevue predictions
I dont think so. If Beechwood were a speed team or a spread team then maybe. Bellevue will have to be at their best to beat a very big Beechwood team.

Who has the most improved team so far?
Dayton

Yeagle out at Lloyd!
Coach Yeagle has a long road ahead of him. Pray for his recovery.

Ludlow/Brossart Predictions
The stars are aligning....Brossart wins, Brossart wins!!!!

Yeagle out another week?
One issue with Mike's health problems, is that people in the "football business" know what his problem is. Lloyd should have been a little more cautious in their hiring.

Has anybody seen the paddle yet? How does it look?

Dayton/Bellevue Predictions
I know Coach Montgomery and he is a great guy. It is hard seeing him wear the green of Dayton. While I wish a Happy Birthday, I hope that a win is one present he does not get. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHAD!!! (if you read this) :dancingpa

Dayton/Bellevue Predictions
Dayton does have quality wins, no doubt. Don't knock Bellevue's wins, either. It would be different if they only squeeked out those wins by a score or two. They beat those teams the way they should have been beaten. Plus, Bellevue, Dayton and Ludlow (pre-Rouse injury) are very close talent wise. You should expect a very close hard fought game with plenty of emotion and shifts in momentum every quarter. Dont wait until Friday night to check the score on BGP, get yourself to the game!!!!!

Dayton/Bellevue Predictions
The refs know coming into this game about how deep this rivalry is...so they will make sure they get control early and will not hesitate to call the captains together to get things in order.

Bellevue vs. Bracken County Predictions
Your right about that. Is it not enought to state your opinion that one team will win or win easily without saying "name the score" or "by whatever they want." That really is a slap in the face to the weaker opponent. These forums are not meant to humiliate or intimidate other schools.

Dayton at Lloyd predictions
Dayton wins another close one. Holmes had just as good as athletes as Lloyd does and Dayton was able to beat them.

Ludlow QB Jarrett Rouse Done For the Season
Certainly an easy game against Brossart for the number 4 seed becomes interestingly closer. Prayers go out to Rouse for a full recovery.
-
Mike Yeagle to take a leave of absence
Health is not just physical. It is also mental and emotional. (Dont read anything into this post, because I do not know what is wrong with Coach Yeagle). So cut the guy a break. There may be something personal he does not wish to divulge.

Bellevue vs. NCC Predictions
Good point! You can pass all you want when given underneath zones all day. But the field really shortens the closer you get to the goal line.
-
Ludlow vs. Dayton Predictions
I saw the Ludlow recievers recently and they are good. They can catch and they get yards upfield. Rouse throws very well also.
-
Bellevue vs. NCC Predictions
Do you mean Kues? He is the one that supposedly had a mild concussion last week. Parr is the backup.
-
Bellevue vs. NCC Predictions
It also depends on if he saw a physician about it.
-
Bellevue vs. NCC Predictions
You are not telling us nothing new. NCC loves to throw the ball and runs when the defense softens up.

Ludlow vs. Dayton Predictions
Ludlow 35 Dayton 21
