Any thougths on this game?

Bellevue really has not had any luck with the schedule this year and it is doing nothing to prepare them for the Dayton game.

 

Two weeks ago game over by midway thru the second period trailing 35-0 to NCC.

 

Last week game over early crushing Brossart. Same thing this week.

 

Meanwhile, Dayton had a close one with Ludlow, a close one with Lynn Camp, and should have a good one with Lloyd this week.

I'll say Bellevue by 40+ this week, which will allow them to begin working on their game plan for the Devils this week and to perfect it next week.

It is giving the starters more time to rest less time to get hurt. It is better then having to play hard fought physical games.

But the Bellevue starters will not have had a meaningful game in three weeks prior to the Dayton game.

 

That is not good IMO. How much rest do they need? Plus they aren't getting any good game experience.

Well considering middle school kids can't play varsity...Of course considering the source, I'm sure this is a snide remark meant to disparage the kids of Bracken County.

 

Bellevue will win this game handily, simply because they are a much better team. Hopefully, though, the Polar Bears will continue to work hard and make improvements. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

With this schedule it give the Tigers three weeks to be getting ready for the Devils. Compared to the Devils who only get one week to prepare for Tigers.

One of the hallmarks of a good program and a good coach is showing respect for each and every opponent no matter what their record or previous performances indicate. To that end, I'm quite certain that Coach Eckstein and the Tigers will prepare for Bracken County just as they would any opponent. Showing respect earns you respect. A fact lost a few posters around here.

Your right about that. Is it not enought to state your opinion that one team will win or win easily without saying "name the score" or "by whatever they want." That really is a slap in the face to the weaker opponent. These forums are not meant to humiliate or intimidate other schools.

Yes Bracken is bad but they are aslo rebuilding. Dont put posts in here stating that it would be better for them to play a middle school program. Running the kids down is not what this place is about.
