I see whales as a resource much like other ocean creatures (tuna, sea bass, crab, lobster, etc...) I dont see too many people complaining about these tasty creatures. As long as these are processed for food, then I dont see it as something horrible. There are limits to the number of whales these ships can kill. As per the show, i consider the members of the Steve Irwin as hostile, aggressive, and terrorists. I wonder why the whaling ship has not fired a harpoon across their bow to defend themselves.

Anyone watch this show on Animal Planet? A sea vessel, The Steve Irwin, harrasses a fleet of Japanese whaling ships (4 hunting ships and one processing ship). Using speed boats, the crew of the Steve Irwin will try to come along side the whaling ships and throw bottles of acid onto their decks in order to drive the whaling crew off deck. They also try to release rope lines in front of the whaling ships so that it will get entangled into the ships propellers. The Japanese whalers have resorted to throwing objects from their decks at the crew in the speed boats, blasting them with water cannons and now using an LRAD (ultra high frequency weapon) to defend themselves. I hate to say it, but I find myself rooting for the Japanese.

Ali is a very good choice if I do say so myself. I had a boxer several years ago named Tyson (again, a boxer reference). I absolutely love boxers!!! Great dogs, great temperament, and will be protective of the family.
