Ludlow QB Jarrett Rouse Done For the Season

Featured Replies

I have recently found out that Ludlow QB Jarrett Rouse is now out for the season with a broken wrist that he suffered in the first half against Dayton. It requires surgery and also will make him him miss a week or two of basketball season...This is a big blow for the Panthers because Rouse was a very good QB and one of the best in the Class A district and the region. I just know I hope he can come back full strength for basketball since he also is very good as basketball...Some of stats for the season up to this point were:

880 passing yards which was leading NKY

8 touchdown passes

200 yards rushing

5 rushing touchdowns

Jarrett was have a great season, and as I have said before was putting up number like Mike Lewis did during his time at Ludlow. Its a shame that he wont be able to finish out his senior year at Ludlow now...

Who will be taking over for him?

Umm either junior Scott Dunn, or this sophomore QB who I really cant think of his name at the moment...

Scott Dunn or Zach Steg. Both may play this week.

Is he number 11 by any chance?

Zach is yes.

Your just a little bit to slow tonight haha..:D

Very very sad thing to hear. A kids worst nightmare is losing his senior year after giving so much to the program. Gotta feel for the kid no matter where you are from. Congratulations on a great football career and see ya in basketball season, hopefully not making too many 3's ;)

I saw Zach Steg. play in a JV game, he looked descent in the game, but just like with any young QB he'll have to grow up fast in order to fill the shoes of Rouse is a really good QB. For Ludlow's fortunes let's hope he can get the job done.

It just sucks for him or the other guy that their first game is against the Beechies.

IMO I think we will see Scott Dunn getting most of the snaps at QB for the rest of the season...

Good Luck to Scott Dunn and the Panthers....Fill those shoes and proof yourself, which I am sure he will

Was Dunn playing another position or has he always been the back up. I hate to hear this news about Rouse, he was truely putting up some great numbers and was showing sign of being a true leader of this team. How will this effect their offense, especially since they were passing so much
