That is right but Adkins was still up in the air when Scott play CC and the coach from Indiana Southeast was there. I am not taking anything away from Woody because he is a heck of a pitcher im just trying to get the facts straight.

He was an assistant coach for Campbell a few years ago and I can assure you that he was there looking at Adkins. He might of liked what Woody had but he was for sure looking at Adkins.

How can you say that when there was a Juggs gun at the game and Adkins was hitting 84mph and Woodruff was throwing 78mph. Thats a 6mph difference and if Woodruff does throw harder than 84, then he must not have had his stuff against Scott which I find hard to believe.

Hopefully things are starting to click in for this young Scott team. It was going to take a while for this team to start playing good basketball due to their inexperience, not saying they are going to blow teams out, but it looks as if they are on the verge of competing.

Adkins is back and returned to practice on Sunday. Have heard no problems with the ankle and is going to play in the AIT. Good News i think for the Eagles.

A good coach IMO is one, no matter the W or L record, improves his kids on the floor, but even more off the floor.

' They are still part of the NKAC so i believe they are required to play a lot of conference games, mostly teams of the ninth. Also I believe it was Scott's decison to join the 10th.

Im not sure who all played well, I was not at the game, I know Scotts starting PG Adkins did not play do to an ankle injury. The Freshman Smith had 10.

I know a few of the guys on the The Highlands team of 82 that had a great time last night.

I can tell you this, It is one of the best 11 teams in schools history.

They played a lot of first half minutes, and were very crucial for Scott's success in the first half. They both played quailty minutes, and played very well,which only can help this team now, but especially in the future.

I think I would trust Fite over Murray starting. Murray throws way to hard on every pitch to throw 5+ innings. Don't get me wrong, he has great stuff, but you have to learn how to pitch, and he is more of a thrower. You are right though, not sure about Taylor Smith starting, but Nick Hiller has to be a good 3 starter. You know what your going to get from Adkins, and If Adams pitches to his abililty, it will be a dynamite 1-2, If Hiller throws good, The staff will be great. I think this team hinges on who will replace Bush, Bitter and Wagner offensivly.

Not sure what to expect from Lewis Co., but if they only score 30 the will lose by at least 20+.

I agree, If Adams throws like he is capable, Adkins and Adams are as good as any 1-2 in the 10th, and when pitching their best in say a regional tourney, they are a tough out as anyone.

They are both just as bad, If you have ever been inside the eagles nest you would see why.

I heard he is 100 percent, just had a sore elbow. This rotation will go Adkins, Adams and then Junior Nick Hiller (Lefty), and Brian Fite who is a senior. Fite was used last year at Varsity out of the bullpen and was very effictive. Right now I say we know more about Fite at the Varisty level than Adams. The more Talented of the two is Adams, but as of right now we know what we get out of Fite at the varsity level.

To come on hear and Bash kids is just wrong. What was wrong with Deck and Forrester this year. Deck was tied in the lead in NKY with TD's thrown this year and threw for over 1,000 yards, yet he degressed. I would of loved to see his stats from last year, he most of thrown for 2,000 and 30 TD's. To say that Forrester was not the answer at running back is also a mis-statement. He was 6th in NKY in rushing and had 2 200 yard games. Your right he didn't not have a lot of speed and cut-back ability, but he was one of the toughest runners to come through Scott High. Who would of you played at each postition if not those to.

Cory Didn't play last year. Is he playing this year.

Obviously Lewis Co. Is not much on offense, but what do they do defensivly and are their games always low scoring. Just Wondering because they play at Scott friday and I was wondering what to expect.
