I think your observation is correct but thats all Scott has. They don't have any big guys to put up there.

Just heard from a reliable source that Forrester quit. I know he wasn't getting much if any playing time at all. What a shame for a Senior who should be starting and playing every defensive down quit because he knows he should be playing and was not.

I dont agree with the good play calling on the offense side. Scott has struggled in tough situations because everyone keys on Reyes and Sowder and thats all Scott rely's on. They could easily place Bruner or Forrester in the back field and give it another look. Scott depends on the big plays from Reyes and Sowder to help them win games and that wont do it against a well coached team or close game like they've been faced with the past two weeks. Coach Fisk didnt have time to lay the ground work. He did set the tables high for the new coaches and it looks like Scott wont be exceeding that unless they beat a Dixie team whose starting to play better ball.

I think Boone losing Flannery really cut their to competing with Holmes. Holmes is just to talented this year and shouldn't be beat. Are there any problems with selfishness on this Holmes team? When you have so much talent on one team you sometimes run into this problem.

Could get very, very ugly in Taylor Mill. Eagles just play hard and dont quit. Highlands is one of if not the best programs in the state and to play them is an honor. Just see what you can do positive and dont worry about the negatives. Hope the injury bug stays away. Just play your hearts out and maybe scare Dixie a little because that will be the BIGGEST game of the year and if you beat them they sit at home and watch the playoffs which would be one of the best things to see. So boys just play hard Friday and have some fun.

What is going on in Taylor Mill? Thats 2 games in a row the Eagles should have beat their opponent.

Why do you have to hate on Coach Carr. If you ask any coach in the 10th the one team they say they dont want to play come March no matter how bad the regular season goes is Scott. They had GRC beat 2 years in a row including the year they won the Region. When a coach draws Scott they know they are going to be in a dog fight just to get past the Eagles. So dont hate on Coach Carr and the Eagles.

Bad play calling by Scotts Offensive Coordinators cost them this game. Why keep trying to pound the ball with Reyes when Holmes has 3 guys on him at all times? Zach Sowder is a soldier but I think he is to important to this team to be catching kicks and punts, throwing the ball running the ball and kicking the ball. Let the kid get a break geez. Go get the Braves this week and lets hope for a better play calling display.

I'm going with Scott in this one. Its homecoming and its hard to beat the Eagles on Homecoming since the past 3 seasons the Eagles are 2-1 losing to Campbell Co. two years ago and beating Holmes the other tow by a combined score of 35-0. Scott will be fired up and ready to go. Bruner will be out there. I would like to see a little better play calling by the coaching staff though. Scott should have won the Holmes game being in the Red Zone 6 times and only converting twice. But GO EAGLES let Friday be enjoyable and believe me, the rest of the weekend will be alot more fun with a WIN!!!!

I'm going with the Eagles just because I'd like to see them finally go down to Covington and win one. The past 3 times Scott has beat Holmes was in Taylor Mill on Homecoming which everyone is pumped for. I'm saying Scott 21-14. If Campbell has his guys run the offense right, he'd have them pound the ball with Bruner untill Holmes weak defense stopped it and then hit Reyes with a break away play. After 3 games all teams are going to be keying on Reyes so try something different with Bruner and scare some people. Go Eagles!!!

Saw Tony Deck and Rob Hankinson on the Brossart sidelines last night. Whats up with that?

Good game for the first quarter and a half. Cov. Cath was just to strong and big. Reyes is definately a stud. Wanted to see him against a good team and he still runs the ball well. Eagles kept fighting and thats what you like to see. I think the lack of numbers will take a toll on the Eagles. Most of the same guys play both ways because they have to and thats what will kill them in a close game that comes down to a late quarter burst. Congrats to Coach Fisk. Eagles start preparing for Holmes because they are wanting a little pay back from last season. Work hard this week and try to get that win to get a good seat for a playoff birth.
