Star of the game goes to the offensive line! Outstanding job of run and pass blocking tonight! The CovCath O-line was moving Scott's "D" line back five yards it seemed on each and every snap of the ball.

 

Congrats also to the coaching staff for making the needed adjustments to the "D". The only TD that Scott had from it's line of scrimmage was when (I believe) VanSant blitzed and Scott had the perfect "O" play called.

 

#17 from Scott (i hope he is okay) is indeed a stud RB.

 

One thing of note that you don't see happen often, is having Scott #17 run back a kickoff and then when Scott kicked off CovCath DeGlow (sp?) ran back the kickoff for a TD for CovCath. So three plays earned three TD's in a matter of seconds!

I stand corrected! The play that I mentioned was for a very large gain, to I think around the 1/2 yard line, then the short run for a TD. It was a smart play by VanSant to blitz, just a bit of good luck, to call the perfect play by Scott!

I stand corrected again! It wasn't DeGlow who ran back the kickoff, it was Hearn!

 

It was a long night as my car broke down after the game on my way home on the interstate! I would like to express my appreciation to a City of Florence Police officer for helping me out by calling a tow truck and for hanging around until that tow truck came. Thank you officer!

Very good game from both the offense and defense for the Colonels this week. It is obvious Coach Campbell is doing things right at Scott. The Eagles played with a lot of heart and a great attitude. Congrats to the Colonels players and coaching staff.

Good game for the first quarter and a half. Cov. Cath was just to strong and big. Reyes is definately a stud. Wanted to see him against a good team and he still runs the ball well. Eagles kept fighting and thats what you like to see. I think the lack of numbers will take a toll on the Eagles. Most of the same guys play both ways because they have to and thats what will kill them in a close game that comes down to a late quarter burst. Congrats to Coach Fisk. Eagles start preparing for Holmes because they are wanting a little pay back from last season. Work hard this week and try to get that win to get a good seat for a playoff birth.

Cov. Cath should have been able to do better than that against the eagles. Things are really looking good for the birds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

49-12 isn't good enough?
