The Ledger today reports that Erin Carmack scored her 2,000th point at the All A Classic in Paris last night versus Silver Grove. It also says her mother, Adrienne Graves Carmack is the all time leading scorer at Deming with 2,100 something points. Congratulations! :dancingpa

I did some research and found this out about UC-Clermont and Keshia Woods. Her team is 12-5 overall and ranked third in the USCAA. They are 9-1 in their conference and ranked number 1. She is 7th in assists averaging 4.154 a game. Here is the website for the USCAA stats. http://www.theuscaa.com

Is your MIDNIGHT MADNESS for both boys and girls teams? How successful is the event? I know Augusta is small, but they always support their teams.

Bobby Storie used to coach Nicholas boys. Now he is an assistant to the Bourbon County girls under Coach Sosby.

I agree if most players are as sincere in admitting their wrong. This is rarely the case.

I think we have a Montgomery/Mason final. Turley will not be enough to beat Montgomery. As long as Mason does not get in foul trouble they will not have too much trouble with Brossart.

There was just no reason to do split sessions for the opening round games. The regional tournament committee was just being greedy.

This is not the first game I have seen you play. I travel the 10th, 11th, and 16th regions watching boys and girls basketball. I do think that in the 6 or 7 ball games that I have watched, they do play the dirtiest ball in the 10th region. They play very aggressive defense and could stop there, but there is dirty play, especially when the refs know they are not watching. The referees did not do a good job last night under any circumstances. They let too many blatant fouls go on both ends, that includes Deming. This leads to injuries plain and simple. One of your boys went to the bench with a bleeding nose last night from a Deming blatant foul. Say what you want about me because I do not care, but please be open minded about ball no matter who you support. I offer my "no-creditability list" opinions and concerns as someone on the outside. :laugh:

The problem with these three-man crews that do regional tournaments is that they do college. College basketball is not high school basketball. I will say it again, COLLEGE BASKETBALL IS NOT HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL. These college officials have no idea how to call high school ballgames.

A lot of smaller colleges are looking for girls who can play more than one sport. I like the poster who said multiple sport athletes learn to manage their time and schedule to keep up their grades. I say let kids participate in all that they can. They are only young once.
