  1. Why even bother jumbling things up for 6A now? In their eternal wisdom the KHSAA has avoided any possibility of any combination of St. X., Trinity, Manual, or Male from ever meeting in the state finals by dumping them all into one district. :ohbrother:
  2. The Bears are on a roll and are way too strong for Seneca. Butler 41 - Seneca 13

  15. I think the problem with Butler being given little respect by the posters is because their recent football records have not been very stellar. Once a team is stereotyped as good or bad, it is very hard to change it's image. St. X. and Butler are two excellent examples. The Tigers have no where near the talent as they have had in past years, yet many still consider them #2 to Trinity. In Butler's case, the talent, experience, depth and coaching have greatly improved, but they are still viewed by many as a walk-over team.
  16. That is just the opinion of Shamrock 69, who is "too young" to even know what "X's best freshmen team ever" looked like.
  17. It's not Trinity's job to "take the pedal off the metal" in this game tonight. It's the responsibility of the St. X. players and coaches to prevent them from even having the opportunity to consider it. I have this strange feeling that in this sigle moment in time the Tigers are up to the task...............GO TIGERS!! :ylsuper:
  18. There is no way in the world that this poor Tiger team belongs on the same field with the all-time greatest high school team in the history of Kentucky High School Football. To make matters even worse, the Baby Bengals made the humongous mistake of defeating Trinity's invincible freshman team (who even used the services of super-star Donald Brooks for the first team at the frosh level) 24-21 tonight. This means that Trinity is no longer amongst the undefeated teams at all levels. This deflating experience will just further incite the anger of the monsters of the St Matthews midway. This could get really ugly! ST. X. 20 - TRINITY 17 :sssh: :scared: :sssh:
  19. I don't think it started swinging the other way, but it definitely shuddered and paused for a TIGER MOMENT.
