Will Trinity run up the score on X if they get a chance?

Why or why not?

I say yes because there is zero love between the two schools.

What say you?

will they get a chance?

I think there is a better than half chance.

No. They will probably play again. Will they get the chance?

First, I don't think we'll get the chance. Second, no. If the starters are in sync and playing well they will ome out fairly early. If they need the work they will stay in regardless of the score. The decision will be based on what Trinity needs, not the score.

Louisville weather forecast is for 25 to 30 mph winds during the game with gusts to 40mph. This may really slow down T's passing game. T will win but I think it will not be a high scoring game.

They better....if they want to keep that precious Ranking:lol:

Precious to who? I haven't seen one thing coming from the team, the players or the school about this stuff. Beatty has consistently (and sometimes vehemently) downplayed it. Nice, for sure, but not on the front burner at T it seems.

Hopefully it's precious to Trinity...why else would their schedule include the teams it does? Precious to this site...just check some of the thread comments. Beatty downplays it b/c he's smarter than most of the Trinity faithful on this site.

They play the teams they do because MOST of Jefferson County refuses to play them.

Just curious - I stopped by St. X. to buy tickets for the Varsity game tomorrow night and saw Trinity's freshman team arrive there about 3:45pm for a 5:30 game. Seems pretty early, is this the norm?

Not to open a can of worms....but why do you think that is?

Trinity will try to keep Massey ratings. Massey has Trinity winning 40-12. Therefore, if Trinity gets chance to blow out St X it will.

With all due respect - I am not sure that is the only reason the schedule is what it is.

Could perhaps the level of competition, the challenge, the opportunity to be truly tested, the ability to learn about your team and players by playing top notch competition week in and week out. Why could not all of that go into the mix as well. Let's say for sake of argument - that tomorrow JCPS lifts "the blockade; - do you think that T would start working the phones to schedule the [pick any JCPS school] ....{ you can throw in Doss if you like } ? I think not.

That's funny because I was at Trinity at 3:45 and the buses were still there.
