Btw, ironically Mason Co had no noticeable student section in their game. I have to say I was very surprised.

Mason Co was asked to move their student section from behind the home team bench. Said they were not asking their fans to move from where they sit all season. Said the other schiol could give up being the home team if Mason County student section behind home team was a problem. What it might lead to is Fieldhouse LOSING hosting the ttourney when 38th District's turn to choose venue comes up again. There are at least 3 other options.

Josh Feldmann of Brossart won 10th Region Coaches Association COY as voted on by 10th Region Varsity Coaches. Scott Collins of Pendleton County won the KABC COY as voted on by 10thRegion members of the KABC.

The 10th Region coaches association does not chose a player of the year. The listing of the first team all region is listed in random ordet NOT by votes received. KABC award winners is won by top SENIOR player. Do not know of any POY for 10th Region girls basketball that includes all grade levels.

KHSAA wants no part of this but are being directed by Ky Board of Ed who is concerned about it. Why govt agencies continue to spend our tax dollars by doing the same job amazes me. Our tax dollars now will be supporting a middle ad, a middle school principal, a superintendent, a board of education a Khsaa organization ALL designed to do the same job.

Great game and a joy to watch. Thank you to both team's players for making it a great night. They hustled their rears off for 48 minutes and it was a joy to be in the stands watching them play.

Bluegrass officials who do 10th and 11th Regions do NOT allow assistant coaches up and yelling at officials. They will talk and listen to head coaches. They will not tolerate the assistants doing that. Have no clue what was said but assistant was up and something was being said to official. The BBA from top down does not tolerate it. I know that personally.

It seems this is a lot about trustees and certain boosters ego rather than what the athletic department wants and would be good for the school.

I think it was Bruton who estimated with standing room only in the infield that tickets were in excess of 150,000. He also began holding KY hostage by throwing the Vegas name out a lot. I believe he owns the track and they are wanting a second race or something to that effect. He kept on saying when he asked for things in Vegas, they gave it to him. I believe he was asked the question what would he say to the governor if they don't want to expand I-71 (which he called the worst Interstate in the country) and he said two words, "Las Vegas."

I have gotten to the point that nothing can be believed from the politicians and less from the media because it all comes with a bias view. It is sad that there is no information that we can feel is accurate without it being totally skewed by their tainted views.

I think it is failed leadership for awhile including Bushes, Clinton, Reagan and awhile back who kept on pushing the issue off for political points instead of providing needed leadership.
