I think they have a descent chance of getting by the 1st round.

If they play like they have the last two nights, St pat has a good shot, but don't count out Mason or Bracken at this point

The finals will be Bracken Co vs Mason Co/St Pat.

 

If St Pat plays the way they did the last two night I think they should win. But Mason Co is a very solid team. I look for a great game. Mason Co will have to take care of the basketball to have a chance and box out and rebound. St Pat is very scrappy on the glass. St Pat will have to contain Keller Menke a great player. Should be a great game! If Mason Co can force Saint Patrick to take long outside shots then Mason Co will have a great chance.

Bracken will win this tourney and then make a run in regionals, I feel. This is the year for them to do it. Looking forward to next week! :jump:

I am not all that up to date on your district or region. However from an outsiders perspective, it seems a little overly optimisic to think it is theirs to win because of two solid showings.(one of which was a loss I believe). They just had a rough patch prior to that.

They may pull it off, but I wouldn' t be suprised to see Bracken or Mason standing at the end.

If I recall St Pats was missing their leading scorer the past few games. Go Lady Saints I know you can do it. Stay strong and pull it together.

They were up around 9 at the half at Clark Co. For that matter up 21-5 at the end of the first quarter. Without leader scorer and solid defensive player Charisma Payne. They lost to a Brossart team who had Emily Sanker returning, they are a completely different team with her on the floor.In this game also Charisma Payne didn't play. The Fleming Co game I don't know about, but Coach said they came out flat but Fleming had won something like 5 out of 7. They lose at Mont Co. A team that is 13-12 but has played a brutal schedule. Mont Co has won the region the last five years. They come within 2 points in the 4th quarter but fall short. But a solid Rowan Co team last night at home who has won the 16th Region Tourny the last two years and was 16-6 and coming into this game and 11-1 in their region.

Regular season is over so dont matter how many games each team has won. Only matters who plays better on a given night. Augusta played Bracken a week ago and was in the game until mid way through the fourth quarter. So anything can happen thats why I love tournament time.
