I am shocked by the final score, but how could anybody think Mason would win this game. First of all, they only got to the region by beating a St. Pat team by 6 that shot 4 of 17 from the foul line. Then against Bracken County they won by 2 over a team that shot 15 of 32 from the foul line. I believe the coach should concentrate more on coaching than crying to the referees. Two technicals in 3 tournament games is a problem. As far as the assistant coaches, just how many do you need for high school. If you expect to win every year, you will only be disappointed. I agree. That is why the 39th district should be played there every year. There is plenty of room and parking. Bracken has a nice gym but that is it.

If the Lady Saints don't make it past YOUR Lady Royals then there is no way they can make it past YOUR Lady Polar Bears.:ohbrother:

This should be a very good tournament. I look for the Lady Saints to repeat as champions.

I noticed only one of the Payne sisters played. How is her sister and will she be able to play in the district?

First of all, congratulations to the Bracken County Lady Bears and their coaches. It is a shame that either team had to lose this game. As for the past, that is all it is. As for the referees, it does not matter where you play, there are going to be bad calls. There are several reasons St. Pat lost this game. Some people just don't appreciate a very good high school basketball game, and that is what we got to see. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

I believe St. Pat will win. While I respect the Lady Polar Bears team, I just don't think they can beat the Lady Saints. Of course, that is why they play the game. :thumb:

Good game. St. Pat was so strong late in the game. Brossart looked good early but faded late, just could not keep up the pace. These girls are well conditioned and ready to play for 32 minutes. Good luck tomorrow night.

As of right now, I don't think you can say any one team is #1 in the 10th region. Mason County and St. Pat are having a really good year with impressive wins. I am glad to see the tourney at the fieldhouse. I believe this could be the difference in who wins the 10th this year.

I really believe this is St. Patricks year to win the All A tournament. Even though they lost 3 seniors, these kids have the experience and talent to win it. Good luck Lady Saints.

I was very impressed with the St. Pat team. They passed the ball extremely well. Their speed was just way too fast for St. Henry. They also got quality minutes from the bench when two starters got in foul trouble early. Great game girls, keep working hard.

I just said the teams were pretty even, which the final score showed. This was a home game for the Saints. If you have watched these two teams play the last couple of years, all the games were pretty close. As far as defense, if you get too aggressive, then you will get in foul trouble.

This was a hard fought game just as I expected. These two teams are pretty even. As far as getting physical, most teams will try to get away with whatever the officials will let them. Both teams received bad calls. The better team, regardless of the officials, will win the game most of the time. This district will be very interesting by the end of the season.

They need to be ready to play. That is what hurt Bracken the most last year when they played St. Pat. This should be a close game if they both play to their potential.

I would say it has something to do with the District tournament loss last year. They must still be sore out on the hill.

Last year was a breakout season for them (20-6). I think they need a strong point guard and the Hamilton girl to help Klee out on the inside. The talent is there, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Who will run the point for St. Pat? If they have a good point guard and the bench improves throughout the year, they will be able to compete with any team in the 10th.
