Harlan High School 1996 Won regional championship and was beat in the sectional by the Greenup Co team and a pitcher I think his name was McGlone. Correct me if am wrong Musketeer alum. I think he threw about 90mph and was Mr. Baseball. Whatever happened to him? I remember setting in the stands thinking this kid is a great baseball player. Was a great hitter as well. I think one of the Greenup Co fans told me he had only struck out less than 5 times in his last two or three years of high school?

I agree dogman about Roscoe, if I am not mistaken he has somewhere around 475 wins a little more or little less, to have that setting on the bench as one of the assistants is a great thing for Coach Wright.

Just a rumor I heard also. This may be well fetched, but the rumor is Al Holland will be the next coach with Whitaker taking over at Hazard. This all just what I have heard as a rumor.

I don't know if Hubbs was a better shooter or not. Miller shoots the ball pretty well. I bet Millers % is probably better. Takes a lot less shots and still scores as many points.

Miller is a lot better than Hubbs.

I would take Miller from KC over Crawford at this point and time.

No way Lynn Camp is the favorite against Bell in my opinion.

I have heard that he has a strained MCL, not sure if he can play with that. That sounds like a 2-4 week recovery to me, but I could be wrong.

I think Harlan also beat University Heights in the semis of the all a and the quaters of the sweet sixteen in 95. Correct HDE? I think that was Thomas and Cox senior year.

I would have to agree with HDE from the articles I read about the Green Dragons they struggle against good pressure. I know the Hounds like to get up and pressure you and are very agressive. Harlan would have to shoot the ball very well and take care of it if there is to be any type of upset. I just see it being very difficult.

I think they play 1 senior, 3 juniors, 2 sophs, 1 fresh, and 1 8th grader. They may play 2 seniors, I am not sure if one of them plays. They do not start any seniors I know that.

I think Cumberland is a hard place to play. I really don't know why but it seems teams have trouble there.

I think this is a good hire for Harlan County High School. All you need to do is look at his accomplishments and records and see why they went after him. I think he will do a good job with these kids. Congrats Coach Larkey and Harlan County High School.

Sounds like a upset parent to me. I am sure Coach Robinson is doing what he thinks is best for his team. I am sure he wants to win as bad as anyone else. Maybe he thinks that is his best chance, since in my opionion the one I think you are talking about is their best player.

If Mike Jones is the coach of this team they will be contenders by the end of the year.
