Listened to this game on Hazard radio and these guys said it was the worst game they have seen all year. Alot of turnovers and alot of easy missed shots. Said they could not believe these two teams won their regions.

They showed McRoberts as only 1 of 2 players to average over 10pts,7reb,4ast,3blks. Those stats are not shabby.

I look for John Smith from Harlan to have a good year pitching, even though he didn't play last year.

I don't think South will have the teams they have had in the last 4 to 5 years, but to say they will struggle to maintain a winning record is just absurd and not a very smart statement. They will still compete for a regional title in the 13th region year in and year out.

I think Lester had done a decent job. Before he got there they were a doormat in the 13th region. He has not built a great team, but they have been competitive every year except his first year there, with very limited talent. Give him some more talent and I think they do very well. Next year will be the tell.

I would like to know where you get your information from. Last time I talked to Casey he seemed like he would be at Harlan for years to come as long as the current principal is there.

So you think Evarts will be Harlan in the first round. I don't think there will be a change in the staff. He has not had an abundant of talent to work with in the first place. They are in better shape since he has taken over the program. They won 13 games total the two years before he got there. When he got there the cupboard was bare. They won 3,8,19,13 games the last 4 years. The likes of Charles Thomas, Todd Cox, and those guys are not walking through the doors of Harlan High School anymore.

Get it right. Checked the KHSAA scoreboard. Harlan has won the last five meetings and last 6 out of 8.

I know for a fact that the head boys basketball coach has NEVER been addressed by the Harlan Ind. administration or anyone else. Trust me, I know this coach very well and what you are saying is slander. I for one hope these parents have the records of these so called calls as well as these approaches made at the kids or there maybe legal actions taken by the opposite side. I for a fact, know that the coach has never contacted a kid or had someone contact a kid for him. Most students that come to Harlan come for academic purposes. The test scores speak for themselves. Sometimes the students are just athletes as well. Get your facts straight before you post again. I want actual facts, not hearsay. If you have the facts, PM me and let me know them.

So you are saying this has to be the boys basketball coach. Trust me, I know the boys basketball coach very well. I have called him about this matter and he is not too happy. He informed me he has never called a player other than his own and that if you are talking about him this is slander, because it has no truth. I would be very careful of the accusations you make, you could end up in court yourself.
