  1. You could put Cumberland and Pineville in from the 13th. It is wide open with both of them having a chance if they play well.
  2. That is one of the first things I noticed about UHA, was how quick they are at almost every position.
  3. This was the first time I have seen Hopson play and I must admit he has the talent to go somewhere with his basketball skills. I must say that I watched him carefully and he did take a lot of plays off. Grim from Painstville is who he was guarding and was giving up at least 6 inches if not more. He ended up with 20 or more, I am not saying nothing against Grim but no way he should have scored as many points as he did. Hopson took a lot of plays off on the defensive end, but could score at will on offense. Just my opionion. I will say he is one of the most talented players I have seen in some time though.
  4. I think it will be Mike Jones if he wants it. I am sure they would try Billy Hicks, but I do not see him coming back. After that I am not sure who they would try to get to lead the Black Bears.
  5. Nice win for the Bulldogs. It would not suprise me if they win the tournament.
  6. I am sorry it was 2003. Here is the link:http://allaclassic.org/Winners-Boys-Past/Boys%2013th%20Region%20Past%20Winners.htm
  7. I do think Corbin won the All A region one time, maybe in 2001. I am not sure HDE would know.
  8. I think Cumberland is on a mission to prove something after the All A.
  9. Where are the rankings, I want to see them. You said 11:30. I have been waiting. Just kidding. I do want to see them though.:ylsuper:
  10. I would take Hobbs out and put Siedel from NL in that spot.
  11. I was told Harlan had no one that could slow down Johnson or Wilson. Those two are great players.
  12. From what I heard Cumberland only had a 7 point lead late in the 3rd.
  13. Johnson-cland Day-pville Miller-kc Siedel-nl Brumback-jc Johnson-corbin Strange-pville Davis-red bird Wilson-cland St. John-sl Hobbs-clay Greene-mboro Rhymer-cawood Zachary-bell Smith-mboro May have left a couple of kids out Crawford from Corbin is there in the top two when healthy, Caldwell from Cawood would be in the mix if not injured.
  14. Charles Thomas 91-95 3300+ Harlan High School
  15. I think this is a good move. Someone that is already in the system, plus it helps in the recruiting because kids know that Joker could take over while they are there.
  16. In my opinion he will be a good player, and you are right this is a position where they do not have a true point guard. He is a true point guard and as he matures they may be pretty good at tournament time.
  17. All you have to do is go to khsaa.org and you can find the scoreboard there.
  18. I heard a story where a coach called a timeout and told one of his players to guard the ref, after the timeout the player went and got down in defensive position in front of the ref. After the ref told the player to stop and he didn't he went to the coach and ask the coach what was going on and the coach told the ref: " I told him to guard you, you are the one killing us." That ended with a T.
  19. Cumberland-64 Knott-52 Too much of Wilson and Johnson. Knott will not be able to match up with them two.
  20. I think that the Canady kid for KC, I think #11 is playing well here of late. I think he will be a big key for KC as the year goes on even though he is a freshmen.
  21. I just now saw the thread about having Perry back. For the ones which were most, you would not take Perry back and put him in Coury or Stevensons positions are crazy. I know he wasn't an all american but he is head and shoulders better than these two. Also he would help us on the defensive end.
  22. That is a good question. I guess it is the want to in the kid. I also think Knox Central plays pretty good man to man D. I may be wrong but after Leisge I would have to say Scalf is behind him in on ball defense. He is long and hard to shoot over.
  23. Morris made a big difference for this team last year. I know Patterson is good and going to be great but he is not as dominant as Morris was last year. Also I hate to say this but it is true, Bobby Perry and Sheray Thomas is a lot better than Coury, Harris, and Stevenson. That is the biggest difference in my opionon. Plus everyone practiced and played together the whole year. No major injuries like this year.
