I would just like to say that I am really upset that John Henson did not pick Kyle Simpson for any of his region teams, when in fact, Kyle was voted 1st All Region Team by the Coaches in the 13th Region. Looks like someone still has a problem with Cumberland. I am surprised he picked Cumberland #2 in the Region for next year.

I'm sure he just has his own opinion like everyone else.

Who would you put him in front of on those regional teams?

The Harlan Daily Enterprise team looks better than the Coaches picks to me. I'm sure one could make an argument for another player from numerous teams, but there has to be a cut-off somewhere.

 

Why only one Corbin player on the coaches team? Barbourville has three, Bell Co. has three, Cumberland, Harlan and Pineville two each.

The coaches had more than three guards on their first team so I figured I could do so as well. My teams include an entire roster, both starting and subs. Simpson would be included on mine.

 

I enjoyed watching Simpson and Cumberland in the regional tourney.

I was very impressed with the Cumberland kids and how well they played, especially against South Laurel. The Skins are very disciplined, handle the ball well, and are very well coached. I have them ranked right there with Corbin at the top of the 13th next season.
