South Laurel.

Anyone know anything about South Laurel ? I looked at there schuedle and it didnt look very heavy with good teams.

I was 3 out of 4 on my picks today. Congrats Holmes! Good Luck against South Laurel.

Great Job Bulldogs! This group truly appears to have found some of the maturity and focus we've all been hoping for. I am extremely pleased to see a solid first round performance...Tonight it's Hill...Friday who knows...they have three or four kids who can lead the team. I see a tough match up for Laurel Friday.

Holmes Can be a dangerous team. Is also very well coached from what i heard!

Hill is the real deal, suprised to why his name hasn't been thrown into the MR. Basketball talk.

Holmes was just more athletic than Tilghman, and their defense was all over the Blue Tornado, forcing them to take bad shot after bad shot. I think they are a tough matchup for South Laurel, as I don't think the Cardinals have the athletes to stay with Holmes. Contain Profitt and South Laurel is very beatable. I was pretty impressed with Holmes, they've got athletes and some length. If they are hitting their shots, like they did tonight, they are a very dangerous team.

Holmes will give South Laurel problems. South Laurel is very big, but doesn't use thier size well IMO (at least today against Fairdale). South Laurel's size advantage will be negated by the athletic ability of Holmes. This should be a very good game on Friday afternoon.

If any team has a chance to knock off Scottin the top bracket, its Holmes.

Good job Bulldogs! Don't forget that this is a team sport. Play together as a team and you guys can win it all. Stay focused and in control of your emotions, these two things could be the difference in winning or losing, and I know you want to win.

Good game for the Bulldogs to get the jitters out. Thats what it looked like tonight. Lots of nerves. Knocked the rust off, its tough when you haven't played in more than a week.

 

Hill hit his 1st shot, and then missed 7 in a row. Then he caught fire and played great in the second half. He's the real deal, he put the Dogs on his back and carried them.

 

Watch for Henderson and Rice to play well from here out. This team is good because they can have anyone step up at anytime.

 

I was impressed with Nelson tonight. He held his own. Got RBS and stick backs.
