I'm just saying, as opposed to all the others, I would love to see KC win it. I would obviously love to see Bell win, but I am a realist here. I have met Elam and he seems like a pretty nice guy, at least compared to several of the other coaches.

I think KC's biggest hurrdle come Monday night. Get by Corbin and they are in good shape.

 

Thought Coach Elam did a good job of switching defense last night and that was the key to the game. If they had stayed in man to man Johnson would have beat them himself. I was impressed with Scalf, Williamson, and Messer I think they are fine players. The big Miller boy reminds me of a Hubbs (from Cawood) type, very good HS scorer but slow of foot.

I hate to see Cumberland lose, but Knox seems like a good team.

I think there is some arguement in that case. Hubbs was a better shooter, Miller a better rebounder which he should b/c he has more size. IMO

Hasn't South Laurel won the last two regional titles? Didn't they beat Corbin to win the district? Knox is playing well, but there are TWO hurdles remaining to get to Rupp, not just Corbin.

It is all about match-ups boys and girls. KC has a tougher match-up's with Corbin than they do with SL. Not taking away anything from the Cardnials by any means!!!

It was a two point game at halftime and Leisge had only taken one shot. He decides to take 18 (he only made one) in the second half, and it is a 10 point game. That really hurt Cumberland. Johnson should have touched the ball every possesion.

Cumberland's starting guards shot 2-22 from the field, which included 1-15 from the 3 point line and were 0-0 at the FT line. Cumberland only managed 6 FT's the entire game, which sounds like they relied way to much on jump shots.
