I agree there will still be first round blowouts, but at least you're getting to play someone different. Like's been said on here before it's not like basketball where you get to play 25 games a year.

Here's some trivia for you. Allow a 5A team to play in 2A and they're probably gonna be pretty succesful. Last years championship was a gift from the KHSAA. Welcome to the real world.

I like the playing another district in the first two rounds much better. I realize some 0-10 and 1-9 teams made it this year. I know it won't be done, but maybe you look at moving a 5-5 team from another district into one of the 0-10 teams slot.

I was surprised at the outcome of the first game. I can only go by how each team played us and Trimble for 3 quarters gave us all we wanted, Gallatin not so much. I think I'll have to go with Trimble in a close one.

Litkenhouse used to be used to determine playoff spots if needed. Are they that outdated?

It's called a level playing field. FHS standards are still well above the KHSAA's.

Played for Franklin County did you? For years FHS standards were so far above what KHSAA required it was almost unfair. So now that we're close to the same level as most other schools we aren't doing it the right way.

This is what gets me about Frankfort fans, and I'm sure it's this way at other places. The constant critisism no matter what you do. You win as a team and you lose as a team and the coaches are part of the team. Now if you don't put together a good game plan it's the coaches fault. If you practice a good game plan all week and go over and over it and it's not exucuted on Friday night who's faul is that. When I coached fulltime at FHS I was one of the coaches that expected the players to take some blame. If you have players out of place where thay can't make a play then that's the coaches fault, if you have players in the proper spots and they don't make the play who's fault is that? I know for a fact the staff goes over and over film looking for formations that will work, or physical mismatches that you can create. I know caoch Thacker used to tell the team that loss was on me, and if we didn't have a good gameplan I would agree, but if you have people in the right spots and you create the mismatches you expected and it doesn't get carried out who's fault is that. If the teams not emotionally charged that pretty much goes on the staff. Sorry just had to vent after some of the crap that's been posted on here.

Look back at the regular season,and if it weren't for the Danville and North Hardin games Frankfort would have had 3 games that the starters played the entire game. In the past FHS made it to the second round of the playoffs and that was it. Hopefully as cardinalvoice said by following what tradionally strong playoff teams do with their scheduling FHS will be better prepared to make a deeper run this year. The talent level between NH and Frankfort is much closer than the score indicated. For whatever reason FHS did not bring their A game Friday night, and that contributed to the loss more than NH being a 6A school. What would you be saying Duece if FHS had won this one, great game way to get ready for the playoffs. as for 5lilmonkeys let 'em post whatever they feel necessary to get ready. Heck if that's what it takes just have someone get on here and post all sorts of negative comments.

Desire for the Panthers took a night off. North Hardin wanted this one more than Frankfort,and that's just about the whole story.
