***I didn't see a thread on this game; if there is, please merge***

Eagles didn't play well in the first meeting, but the Eagle team I saw last night looked unlike any time I saw them before in this year. Played a complete game for the first time this year. Overlooked in light of Stanley's huge game was how fantastic the Bethlehem defense played. They play like that Friday and they should win, perhaps handily.

This will be a tough one for Holy Cross but I think they will triumph. Holy Cross 21 - Bethlehem 14.

Jimmy Nauert is a Class AA player who should be playing in big venues on Saturdays. The Eagles will have to pressure him or their season will be over.

My take on this game is that it will be a defensive battle. Holy Cross will put 8 -9 players in the box in order to stop Stanley. Greenwell will need to step up big and make some throws so that HC will have to honor the deep ball. In the first meeting Holy Cross was ineffective moving the football. Two big scores came on large plays both taking advantage of Bethlehem early year injuries. I think this game will be settled by 3 points or less and there will be less than 30 combinded points put on the board. If I must pick a winner I say Bethlehem takes Holy Cross 13-10

^ That's a pretty sound take on the game. HC scored in the last game on a return and on a halfback pass the first play from scrimmage. Greenwell's numbers have been dismal this year, he will have to make at least a few throws for them to win. However, the return of Luke Wimsett makes this game a little more interesting, because Stanley is now not the only guy to focus on.

Bethlehem's defense has been lights out for a few weeks, and are even better than when the Eagles played HC the first time.

Holy Cross 20-14.

Who's coaching Bethlehem now?

Who's coaching Bethlehem now?

Stan Torzewski, he was the DC last year.

Thanks Hearsay.

Looks like most think Holy Cross will win by 2 or more touchdowns. This one could be a big suprise.
