I said in the update thread and I'll say it again: It wasn't that close!

By the way, Larry French needs some votes for statewide coach of the year.

I thought Lincoln would win, but not by this much!

What kind of game did Lincoln's qb have tonight? We saw him last week against Hopkinsville and he looked very solid.

Lincoln County seems to be getting stronger each week........It is a cliche', but they do seem to be peaking at the right time.

Lincoln Co. took the fight to Mercer and the Titans did not respond. French had his team well prepared and it showed in the way they man handled Mercer. I hate it for these Titans players as they have fought hard all year! Its hard to go from State Champs to a losing season in less than 12 months... hang in there boys!!:thumb:

Just a thought... the Titans Trevor Short is one heck of an athlete, perhaps he would be a better running back or receiver than QB. No disrespect to him at all!! He has played hard all year. IMO, the QB spot doesn't play in to his athleticism.

Good Job Lincoln Co...Coach Jaggers will have Mercer rebuilt and ready to go for the 08 season...:thumb:

With the amount of juniors he has on the team, that is no doubt.

Did Mercer County have any turnovers?

Lincoln Co. is getting better every passing game, here they just beat a good Mercer Co.team by 20 points, Mercer's other five loses were a total of 15 points. Mercer Co. will be better next season and will win most if not all of those games they loss to this season. Congratulations to Lincoln Co. as they move on to round two.

From the opening kick-off untill the final play, Lincoln dominated the game in every phase. A question for those who saw the game....what kind of offensive set was Mercer County "trying" to run? I knw they were in the bone some, but what was that other set? Having not seen them until Friday nite, had they run that before? Whatever it was, it sure didn't work.

I think a lot of people have been asking the same question for a couple of weeks???

Lincoln County is having a great year. For those who have been doubting the Bell County Bobcats and their schedule. This is pretty much what the Bobcats did to Lincoln at Death Valley in Week #1. I know Lincoln has improved...but so has Bell. Best Wishes to Lincoln. You were gracious hosts. I hope both teams end up at "the pizza box!"
