This is in the basketball forum. If we're talking as a school then Eifert. Basketball only it's Harney. Caly's success was tied to Harney and he didn't coach too long. Joe's the all time leading scorer and the best palyer from a team that went to the satet tourney, the following year he had them ranked 1 in the state a lot of the year, and he finished in the top 3 for Mr Basketball. To me it's between Andre and Joe. I would go with Joe, but either one is fine it's close. Just b/c there are a few Trame's I wouldn't go w/ that name. As far as playing goes I'm not sure any of them were that good. Jeff was a very good coach and won a regional title there, but wasn't there that long. Dan had more success coaching at two other schools than he did at HC. So I wouldn't consider Trame as the face of the program.

HC and Cov. Cath should be a good game when they play, it could be the Indians best chance to get to the Regionals in years.

I would hope Joe Harney would come to mind. He's the best player to come out of there in a long time.

You could also say Doug Schloemer, the only nky player to win Mr. Kentucky basketball until Ross Neltner. Doug took Holmes to the finals and won until the refs blew it and didn't call the goaltending.

Quit posting in them. Who cares about rankings? This isn't the BCS. Everyone gets their chance on the court once the district tourneys start. You care enough to post a bad comment about Holmes every time they WIN a game. Relax its high school kids playing a sport.

Brandon wears a size 14 shoe, his dad is 6' and played baseball at Wright St. and his mom's brother is 6'6. I think he will grow more but I don't know what sport he is best at and that's scarry. He will make Dixie better as a QB in football and a pitcher and cleanup hitter when he hits high school. Great kid overall!

Any concern over the 4th quarter to's for the Dogs? Same thing happened against Scott County and it seems they were outscored big in the 4th q in their only loss.

I'm not sure how open or guarded he was but on at least two of them he had to be at least 23 feet away.

He wouldn't start for Holmes so I would say he isn't in the top 500 juniors in the nation.

Would Euton start for Holmes? I really think he would be their second guy off the bennch.

Again I was not there, but I would have palyed some zone and I wouldn't have been picking up 3/4 court man in the second half along w/ some other things. They were playing against a glorified frosh/jv team.

Holmes, CCH, and Beechwood. They obviously can't finish 4th. I could easily see them 2nd or 4th. They can make it but I wouldn't bet on it. I never said they were horrible, but are they good? Can they score? More than a couple of people in the preseason said losing Sorrell wouldn't hurt b/c all of the experience guys have and that they would be able to score.

Where does someone call for the head of Ryle's coach?

It's a first year program in their district. Nobody has said on here that went to the game if they "ran" it up. I have an opinion but I didn't go.

Wait a minute. HC is having trouble scoring? What happened to all of the homers who were saying they could all score now that they'll get to shoot?:lol: All kidding aside it's good that they are playing hard and competing. They probably still won't make the regional tournament but at least it looks like they have a chance. The last few years they had no chance.

I thought Holy Cross looked good in the first two quarters. Beechwood looked pretty good too.

What seeds were these two?

I got a red card my Jr. year down state in soccer and we lost. I had to sit the 1st game of the soccer season my Sr. year. I played basketball and didn't have to sit out. If he is a Sr. he might have to sit out a game for the next KHSAA saction game he plays in.

Is Walton considered NKY?
