What is UK's record? If people picked UK to win every game this year they would be right more than wrong. I understand where you're coming from. I didn't even pick the last game that I know of, but it did come off as a tad demeaning when you said 70% would pick them this weekend. I'll take them this weekend, but I would take the C's over them.

Yes they know more than you, me, and anyone else on this site. When they make UK the favorite this weekend don't say I didn't tell you so. When UK not only wins, but covers the spread don't be shocked. Sure LSU could come in and hand them their lunch, but I'd say there is a better than 60% chance that UK covers. LSU will be a big time public play. Probably higher than 70%. I think the odds makers are better at predicting than us, and they will predict a UK win. I could be way off, but I follow spreads closer than most people.

I believed they could win b/c the odds makers believed they could win. The Vegas casinos did not make it a pick believing UK would be blown out. This weekend when UK is -2 I believe they will win. The reasons are it is a must win and everyone and their brother will be taking LSU. So my belief is that the Vegas casinos were built on games like the LSU game coming up. I hope that the 70% of fans that you think will pick UK do.

Fine, but you did mention people picking UK yesterday and this weekend. I would bet you anything that the UK will not be an underdog this weekend. So either you're smarter than the odds makers or you should back it off a notch.

The odds makers had this game as a pick so not all of the people that took UK were that dumb. They got whipped, it happens. The lesson people should take is that if they go against a really good PG then bet the farm against them.

I'm not exactly sure what he could have done to have kept the game closer. Holmes is probably about 20 points better than them. If they knock down their FT's and hit a couple of close shots that they missed, but that were contested they may have kept it to single digits. Holmes was focused and played hard. HC wasn't beating them if that was the case.

I thought Trimpe played well. Holmes pushed just as much or more than HC

I'm not sure how to be more clear about this. Scott County let them run and even tried to outrun them. Holmes looks like a different team when other teams run w/ them. They have learned how to win when a team slows it down on them. They will be fine.

Well O is leading the country right now during the economic crisis. Should he get all of the blame for the current state of the economy? Call Bush a terrible President all you want, but the country is a safer place today than it was in 2001 when he took office. His spending was out of control, but the safety of the nation was good after Sept of his first year.

Yep, I was really hoping they could steal a win or two against the good teams at home. They haven't beaten anyone in the top half of the BE. WVU at home and Syracuse on the road would go a long way.

Wade was picked higher than Meeks is going to be and he could score off the dribble. I think he went in the top 5 and could have gone higher if Detroot didn't think they were set at his position. He was also more athletic.

I think he is more like Hillary. He will be a finalist, but never really have a chance to win the prize. Hillary was hot at the end but it wasn't enough to catch O who was so good at the beginning that the lead was commanding.
