  1. While I'm not disagreeing that you read that somewhere that would surprise me. He's allowed shooting as much as he wants. He forces terrible shots and stays in the game.
  2. If you would break it into percentages for us. What chance is BCG gone? What are the chances it's Donovan? Who else do you think has a good chance? If you don't want to share I understand.
  3. GT is the best on the national recruiting to me, but LABS is the best at UK info including GT. I thank both of you very much for the info you provide to this site. It's awesome.
  4. I would like to add asst. coach Sammy the Bull, Elsbernd!!! As a HC alum, I debated to go to the game but I am sure glad I went to root on my rival Holmes Bulldogs!!! I felt so bad for Housley at the end of regulation and thought he would never live it down if Holmes lost the game. His teamates pick him up and hit shot after shot. Riley's 3 at the end of the 1st. overtime was huge but Central never gave up! Congratulations Bulldogs, I will never forget this game and it was well worth the money and time to go to Rupp and see the best high school game I've seen. All I can say is WOW!!!
  5. Porter has a little bit of the flu.
  6. I know LRCW is going to give me some heat for this, but the line opened as a pick. The odds makers are absolutely begging you to take LSU. There is no other way around it. All of the money is coming in on LSU and it's only gone up a point and a half. I like UK to pull the upset. The teams that had the bye in the big conferences weren't that great against the spread yestarday.
  7. I haven't seen him play and I'm just speculating. But having read some stuff about him, I think he will sit on the bench the whole year if he comes to UK.
  8. This seems like another Donald Williams pickup. This guy will take his spot on the bench next year.
  9. Now that UK and Florida have tanked it's a lot more wide open than when this debate started up. I'd say Meeks now has a chance but Patterson and Calathes don't and it will go to Thornton or Downey.
  10. Isn't he only 20 years old right now too? If they would have kept Chandler and done well w/ this year's pick they would have approached .500 next season IMO. Westbrook might be the rookie of the year. Durant has a pretty high ceiling, but it's below LBJ, Wade,.....and well that might be it. His 3 pt % is staggering. I don't see him being in OKC after his rookie contract though.
  11. Yeah it's called palying in conference USA. They would have more than 1 loss in the SEC this year. UK can't use that strategy. They need to do better scheduling, but they don't need a whole lot mroe than UL, UNC, and IU as far as huge programs go.
  12. I don't think he's missed 3 in a long time. Last year I believe it was 1. It is easy to identify the bubble teams by next week, but still missing 1 isn't shabby. My biggest question really was has he ever had someone as a 10 seed or better actually be left out? If he has UK as a 10 next week I would feel pretty good about their chances.
  13. If there are half of 8 getting in and he only misses 1 or 2 he does pretty well though right?
  14. Does he do it based on if the selection were that day? Who do you think does better ones? It's hard to argue that he's pretty good on selection Sunday. What's the worst he's ever missed? Ie..did he ever have someone as a 10 seed and they missed the dance?
  15. I'm not sure if I am agreeing w/ you or not, but that is even more of a reason to be excited about the future. Do people not grasp that he's been the coach of the year in the Big 12 and SEC w/ in the last couple of years? While he may have some fans and outsiders scratching their heads aren't the decisions his to make? People have no idea what he sees every day. I think it will be comical to see which people do a 180 next year.
  16. They got what they wanted out of the deal though, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. They converted a QB that didn't start a game after high school and an aging defensive player for cap space and a second round pick.
  17. Lunardi's that was updated today has them as a 10. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology
  18. There is talk going around that they could have had the 12th pick in the first round if they would have wanted it. It would have been a 3 team deal w/ Cutler going to Tampa, and Cassell going to Denver.
  19. If they make it to Lexington they will see teams that are willing to run w/ them. That will be interesting.
  20. When they are doing really well I hope all of the haters stay off the wagon.
  21. UC knew they were going to get enough tough games and they were young, but I agree. What's hurting UC the most IMO is they don't have any signature wins and haven't fared well against the top 25.
  22. That's my only problem w/ the current staff right now. Everyine knows how to beef up their strength of schedule and they didn't follow that path. You can't schedule teams in the bottom 100 of the RPI and expecet a top rated schedule.
