  1. It will be real difficult. I'm not sure any team in this district is looking forward to a first round game. Holmes included.
  2. What years did Conley play? If he was the guy that played against COV HC in the All A tournament he should have played in college.
  3. First of all let me say I think there is no chance Penick plays any lower than Division 1 next year. But just b/c a kid gets letters from D 1 schools doesn't mean they will offer him a scholarship.
  4. It is her cousin, both teams will be fine! (dixie and hc) Upsets can happen!! HC can beat CCH or Homles on any given night. It's high school, everybody has to relize that. It's early, let's just enjoy the season and see who come's around. I've been on a HC team that beat Holmes when they didn't lose to a team in the 9th region the whole season till regionals (96). So I can't say HC is out of the hunt until a loss happens. Everybody needs to stay lose till a loss happens! :ylsuper: Go 9th Region! Win a state title, whoever wins!
  5. I've only seen those guys in alumni tournaments. I said the best I've seen. From what I hear Lenihan was better than Eifert. List was also good, but the best player was from the 62 team.
  6. Andre McClendon is the best I've seen from Holy Cross. But someone from the 62 team was probably better.
  7. Anything can happen in one game, but I would say you are right. HC wasn't very deep and it would have been difficult to play and win another game. Faridale was very very good.
  8. I believe it was 91. Holmes was supposed to go down after making the finals the year before. Erik was the starting pg as a sophomore. He did have Andre McClendon and Todd Houston. If Cory miller doesn't get hurt they probably play in the state finals.
  9. At the risk of sounding like a homer I would incude Erik Goetz in front of some of these players.
  10. BIGZIG " But they were until last year and they are still the only team from the 9th Region to win the State Championship. Not including McKinley is really sort of petty IMO." Simon Kenton missed the thread title by a year, just like Doug Schloemer missed it by two years. How am I being petty and your not?
  11. My 9th region list: G-Dickey Beal/Holmes G-Scott Draud/Highlands G-Joe Harney/Holy Cross F-Jack Jennings/Holmes F-Derek Smith/Highlands Subs G-Ronny Dawn/NewCath G-Chris Hayes/Holmes F-Andre McClendon/Holy Cross F-Justin Doelmann/Ryle F-Ross Neltner/Highlands Simon Kenton is not in the 9th region or Troy McKinley would have made it.
  12. I am in no way trying to say you've done a bad job or anything like that. Just trying to help. Another way of looking at it...The Colts are favored by 17 at home this week. If the game were in Houston it wouldn't be 5. It would be closer to 11 or 12.
  13. I think the six poits is the total. As kick has already said it should probably be three. That makes for a 6 point swing. The way you have it is actually a 12 point swing. For instance you left the NCC game alone b/c of the nuetral field. I don't think homefield should be a two touchdown swing on the total.
