Are you sure that you really know the team players? Do you really know who is out there partying on and not worried about football next season? I think that there are a number of them (I personally know) that are working hard in the weight room and putting in extra hours outside of the weight room so that this can be "the year". I must say that I have always found you to be a supportive Dixie fan and I am surprised with your new found dislike for the leaders of the team next season. Don't judge the whole team by a few. Last year the team was shot down before the season even got started (preseason games) by the fans, press and coaching staff. I hope that your tact is only to challenage the team and not create a new band wagon for cutting up the senior leaders before they have even had a chance to lead. Let's wait and see. I hope that your thoughts are not shared by many fans and that most remain very optimisitic about this season. Players, find your own spirit, create team and prove the critics wrong!:ylsuper:

Let's all settle down...I did not mean to start any issues or point a finger at the coachs when talking about two a days. I was only stating that a number of the players have requested two a days and were told that two a days were not an option. I thought that the conversation was about the benefit of two a days and if you have players that are willing, why not? Dixie coachs are among some of the top in the area and I am a die hard Dixie supporter. Stop looking for reasons to stir the pot, let it go and GO DIXIE!

No two a days. The players want to do them but have been told by the coaches that it isn't going to happen. Who has the commitment and motivation? Sounds like the players want to improve.....

Who's returning and how are things looking?

I would appreciate any information on this subject. My son will be a senior next year and is very interested! Are they invitation only or can anyone go? How do we find out where they are and when? Thanks to everyone in advance!

And how does Duran keep coming up??? I watched a number of his games and I just don't see it... Is UK still after him or have they changed their mind?

It's a shame that after a Ryle win that some Ryle fans are still focusing on certain players. Bricking is a fine QB, so get off his case and stop going on about pic's , his "off season", etc. As for the Dixie team, you played with class against a team who must value being "physically destuctive on the field." That;s a quote from the hype leading up to this game. I feel that if a player throws a punch or hits with the intent to do physical harm, the coaches must step in and teach. Enough said Dixie players, you should be proud! Walk tall. Comngrats to all the seniors and best of luck in the future!

Heard Bricking is out also. Tough break for the team. But Dixie is a team and one man out does not end the season! 16-14 is a close game and that was with the team shook up losing Bricking. My advice.....watch out Ryle. It ain't over yet. GO DIXIE!

Any thoughts..........

I feel for the parents and guys on the team. My son hangs with a number of Scott players and they are all very talented young men. I wonder, is it the coaching or what is it? I always pull for Scott and admire those boys for coming out game after game and working hard...I also admire the parents for keeping their spirits up and cheering for their team. Keep the faith men and remember good things come to those who wait.....Go Eagles!

Bricking passed for 183 yards and that was on an off night. Stay tuned Dixie fans it will all work out!

Tough game boys, great game boys...tough loss. Keep your heads up and keep on track. There are always fair weather fans and as I can see they have all come out to express their "kick 'em while they're down" motivation. And DixieChick, as for the Dixie Qb, stay tuned. He is a good kid with a --it load of talent and will go with this team as far as they want to go. I do think that it is terrible to trash one player on BG and I hope that no one else follows your low class tactics. If you have an opinion that needs to be shared please feel free to call Coach(s) at Dixie. The number is listed. And I am sure they will value your opinion as much as the team does. :irked: I will get off my soap box know and again encourage the team to stick together and prove yourselves week after week.:thumb:

I am so proud of our boys...Go Dixie!:jump: As always, I hope that you are not believing all the knocks the team is taking on BG. Keep your heads in the game and you can prove it again this year...you are contenders! :fire: Conner keep going, we have been on the up hill side and it ain't easy. Just don't listen to the "authorities" on BG, they put their pants on the same as everyone else!

Another week of hard work at Dixie. They seem to be taking it one game at a time and taking each game seriously. The running game is finding its place and the lines seem to be holding much better. Bricking's receivers really need to make the catches when the ball hits them in the numbers and hold onto them. I pick Dixie in this one. GO DIXIE!

Question: What does, "4A doesn't have the greatest state reputation" mean exactly? I am new and live up here and would like to hear from other areas. When you live in the area you have a slanted view from those around you...let me know what others think! Thanks!
