Congratulations to Central on their State Championship. Belfry!! You guys know Jeepman loves you and hated to see you loose. I'm happy for the young men at Central for their first ever State Championship. It's always good to see someone else take home the big prize. Once again Congratulations.

You can be assured that the players from Belfry will not get a big head. They will come ready to play some football.

Really. So who do you feel won it based on their Junior season?

I would think that with going to six it gives the private schools a little more opportunity to win state championships. If they could only figure out how to get Trinity and X in different classes. Keep in mind! Money talks.

No disrespect to Central but after seeing how they reacted to a moderately physical Johnson Central they will throw in the towel after they see a very physical Belfry. No contest in this one. Belfry 54 Central 7

Thats why they created 6 divisions. More state Championships for your area.

You would think if he is going to announce a TD he would at least give a score.

Some will still pick Louisville Central based of there tough schedule. A tough schedule is good but you have to win some of those games.

I think if it were a perfect world and all things were fair and equal Cory Robinson would win the award without question. I have changed my mind.

Who cares! State championships is what I want to here about. Tell us about those.

Bottom line. They have not seen him play. Keep in mind most of these guys on here are not the voters. Sorry if the media does not know him he is out.

Get out of here. I had no idea. Private school parents pay above and beyond the normal taxes that we all pay.

I think maybe a few of the special schools should have charters. Highlands is special in my book. They have earned to ride in style.

I think it depends on what kind of school you are from. I think the Private schools should ride in class with a chartered bus and the public schools should ride the big yellow buses. Lets face it if you are from a private school you should ride in class. Your parents have paid for you to ride in class. I saw at least one post on here where a private school took chartered buses to all away games. The public schools need to utilize the yellow school buses.

I remember a time when it was a big deal if you made the playoffs. You knew that your team worked hard and accomplished what some could not. KHSAA has taken that away from these kids. Now making the playoffs means absolutely nothing.

This is the type of comments that hurt a program. We all love Greenup County and how they made our community proud. Why tarnish it with an off the wall comment like this.

Wow! What a game. Congratulation to both teams. Greenup County had a lot that counted them out. They showed that they never gave up. Great season! You made our community proud.
