It's pretty cool that 5 teams from our area could bring back a state championship.

Thats why they created 6 divisions. More state Championships for your area.

NKY doesn't have teams in every class. I think ness was talking about Cincy Anderson and Cincy St X plays tomorrow along with Beechwood NewCath and Highlands

Congrats to the Redskins, I am a 77 graduate.

Wow how must Turpin feel? Had Anderson down the whole game when those two rivals met earlier in the playoffs only to have Anderson win on the final drive.

It has to be a swift kick in the jewels. Turpin has always been little brother to

Anderson in football. This was their year, finally, only to be upset by big brother in the closing seconds. To make it worse, Big Brother finishes the job.

Anderson frosh beat the Beechies frosh by 2 scores. Well desreved win by Anderson, no cake walk though.

Awesome news...have a friend who has coached quite a few years at Anderson.

Redskins take full advantage of moving down from D1.

The WR for Anderson was tremendous. I think his name was N. Truesdale. He is a nightmare for a DB.

My senior year of highschool , they split the freshmen, sophmores and juniors and formed Turpin high. The senior class stayed together. Anderson was never very good in football while I was there. We were 1-9 my senior year. I always wondered how it got turned around because there were plenty of athletes in the school but it was hard to get most out for football.

I saw him on the news the kid is like 6'6. On one of his TD's he ran to the five stopped the qb threw it straight up in the air. He out jumped the DB by a 3 feet grab the ball and took it in.

He's listed at 6'7" 215 pounds. It sounds like he has more basketball than football offers.

Anderson for several years now has been good but playing in the GCL South was not kind. And then finally they drop to D-II and win the state title. And the score was closer than it really was. Louisville (pronounced lewisville) scored late to make it 31-25.
