Just got abck from the game, and the Bulldogs looked very good tonight. The Patriots were giving up a lot of wide open shots and the Bulldogs knocked the shots down. Congrats to the Bulldogs and back to the drawing board for the Pats!

I think that Knott Central is better than Lee County, but that is just my opinion. 1. Pcc 2. Hazard 3. Leslie 4. Letcher Central 5. Knott Central There are several teams right on the brink of the #5 spot right now, alot of parity IMO.

I would like to see Jackson City compete in this game, but the game is in Hazard so I also say Hazard by alot.

I do not know about number one in the region, but they are good and will improve by season's end and if they can get through a tough district tourny, they can upset anyone and win the title, but I would consider it an upset if they did. The boys are in shape and pull away in the fourth quarter much of the time, I love the effort and hope that the Patriots can make a run at the Regional title, lets see how they do in the WYMT-Classic coming up in a couple of weeks, that IMO will answer a lot of questions I have.

This game was not close, the Pats played very well and had their starting center back. The Pats led by as many as 40 at one point, good rebound win for the KCC Patriots! :thumb:

He does not play guard, he plays under the basket in the center and power forward positions. He can handle the ball like a guard and they say he plays some guard, but he spends most of the game under the basket on offense and defense, the only time you see him out from under the basket is when he helps the guards get out of traps. His name is Dials, a senior and an important piece of the puzzle this year at KCC, mess with chemistry and the team suffers IMO, so his not being able to play last game certainly hurt KCC IMO.

What time does Knott play? I know they did not have their starting center playing today, he will be back tomarrow, not saying that would have made a difference, but it would have helped.

I was thinking the same thing, sometimes weak teams make average teams look "for real."

It really does look good in the gym, good place to watch a game!

Knott Central should be descent this coming year, they have a good coach and have more upper-classmen, that equals a descent season. I think they make the playoffs for the first time in a long while

Honestly this thread can be updated all tge way till kickoff, the weather forcasters are hardly ever accurate

They do a good job and are a class act as long as they are winning!

With all due respect to "coaches" in many cases it is the "position" "coaches" resposibility to see that a player is taught the correct way to play the game and "teach" the correct "mindset," but many "position" "coaches" fail to do more than say "...you go here.....and then go there.....I do realize that in many cases the player is resposible for his own developement, but it takes equal effort from coaches, parents and player IMO. (in no certain order) I do think that the blame gets misdirected to the "Head" "Coach" when the real blame should be with the "position" "coach."

Good points and actually I do find myself pulling for the Mountain teams when they go to the "Big-City" to play against "City" teams. I overstate my dislike of Belfry just because I enjoy the emotional reaction I get out of their fans. I all honesty I love going to the games in which Belfry and Breathitt have played, the fans and the game are unforgetable. The atmosphere of true rivals coming together on Friday night is great!
