  1. By the time the Eagles get another chance tomplay the Bobcats the Bobcats will have had time to correct some of the problems that a new offense brings, I respect your opinion, but I can not understand how a team that has been beaten so soundly by so many can be so confident that they are going to win like this. Talk is cheap, if the Eagles can beat any top team, good, it is about time.
  2. Breathitt will not need any material for this game. Leslie may be good and Breathitt may be rebuilding this year, but the Bobcats have a very strong defense that will keep them in the game and if they can learn to run the ball effectively, this game will be just like the previous few, not close.
  3. I do not see Breathitt or Middlesboro making it to Louisville either, but they will still be better than average IMO. I see Leslie coming closer in the District but how close, only time will tell. Breathitt's strength is on defense and they will be in games in which the offense is not working as well. It will be another interesting Fall with an added twist with Leslie being much improved, or so they say.
  4. 2A is "Wide-Open" again this year with several teams that can win the title. The team that has the best luck come playoff time wins the title IMO. By luck, I mean other good teams losing and such.
  5. Sounds good to me. Go Blackcats!
  6. They sent the best they had to UK, what about the subs during the season? Are they deep as far as talant?
  7. I would be lying if I said that I thought the '02 team could win the title, because I knew all they could do was pass the ball, and run with Haddix. They were inconsistant that year, but there was no one to take advantage of that inconsistancy. Russell had the best chance, and should have won that game, but. . . .. . . . . . ..
  8. I agree. But if a team can win without being good at every aspect it does not speak well for the strength of Kentucky football IMO.
  9. I would say that is true of the lower divisions, but when we talk about 3A and 4A, I think that more balance is needed. But hey, we are in 2A, and if a team can win by not being good in all areas, so be it. . . . . .
  10. Prayers from Zin for all involved.
  11. Yea I know. . . .Good luck the Eagles. . . . :thumb:
  12. I repect what Belfry has done, but I like to see the Bobcats or Blackcats beat them.
  13. Breathitt over Belfry. Many Breathitt fans would say Breathitt over Prestonsburg, but I like Prestonsburg, so I really do not care if they beat Breahtitt.
