  1. I don't think Trinity will score that many points.
  2. How did Chase Minnefiled look? He is my dark horse for Mr. FB.
  3. The freshmen played Trinity very well last year. There is reason for hope...
  4. I wish the publics would make up their mind. Is it recruiting, numbers, money, "arrogant bull", or not following a district that is causing the "rift"?
  5. I guess it's just your history. You come into T threads with negative comments.
  6. V 1-10 V20 MONTGOMERY BELL drive start at 01:45 (4th). V 1-10 V20 A Bennett pass complete to C Plageman for 42 yards to the THS38, 1ST DOWN MBA. V 1-10 H38 A Bennett pass incomplete to R Phipps. V 2-10 H38 A Bennett rush for 5 yards to the THS33 (A Williams). V 3-5 H33 C Waddey rush for 17 yards to the THS16, 1ST DOWN MBA (E Brady). V 1-10 H16 C Waddey rush for 13 yards to the THS3, 1ST DOWN MBA. V 1-G H03 C Waddey rush for 3 yards to the THS0, TOUCHDOWN, clock 00:40. V 1-G H03 PENALTY MBA false start 89 yards to the MBA8. C Foster kick attempt failed. Montgomery Bell 23, Trinity High School 21 Two draws for big yardage does not equate to being blown off the ball, IMO.
  7. MBA netted 95 yards on 35 attempts for a 2.7 average. I think we'll take that.
  8. Then x should not have a problem ever. But then again, don't forget "Last Game". :sssh: :ylsuper:
  9. And your point? I have not said anything disparaging about x's brilliant size or speed. Just how is it possible they ever lose, especially in last year’s 4A title game? If you want to start a thread about an off topic (x's world domination), go for it. Otherwise, bug out... and remember "Last Game".
  10. I see a 40 something to 21. Creek has more speed than LC. They will get 1 or 2 score on the varsity D and 1 or 2 scores on the JV D. x's O will still run all over the field, but not as easily.
  11. And the true reason for this thread comes out...
  12. Some x fans think size is everything. Others think SPEED is more important. I think we'll be OK by the time it's all said and done.
  13. Next year should be interesting. Beside the 3 district games, I'd be surprised if we have more than 2 other Jefferson County teams that will play us. That will really open things up for some serious football teams.
  14. This is my favorite argument the public schools try to use. The old "our kids" from "our district". Here's a little hint: you do not own those kids. They "belong" to their parents.
  15. Just to set the record straight, it was riveroftears that brought out his poor attempt to attack Nick Petrino (which was completely off topic). Every post by a Trinity supporter in this thread had been very congratulatory until this classless post: Post #69
  16. And you keep telling yourself Last Game. We'll keep laughing.
  17. Thanks for mentioning Petrino and the 4A State Champions Trinity Rocks in this thread. Every time I think of the way Petrino made x's lineman look in the game, it brings a smile to my face. :jump: Just keep on saying "Last Game" and everything will be ok. :flame:
  18. So are numbers important or not? You can't have it both ways. Beechwood (176 boys) blows out Dixie Heights (647 boys). It must be that Beechwood has some UNFAIR advantage in order to beat Dixie, right?
  19. I've got one better than that... Beechwood 35 Dixie Heights 9
  20. I think until X loses, they should be #1. They have a unreal talent in Vic, and another great runner in Deuce. The OL is big and athletic. THIS could be x's finest offense ever. The D is strong. Strong enough to stop the run and defend the pass as evident tonight. I could see less than 8 TD's given up by the D all season. This may be the one Glaser goes out on...
  21. My only problem is that it's not earned, but rather given. The only time you are truly #1 is after the final.
  22. Wow, you win 47 - 0 and still find a way to yell at the coaches. I thought Trinity fans were bad. :thumb:
