  1. This will be a very good test for both teams. Should be a fun night.
  2. Pre-season best oline. LOL! Let's see what happens when it's 4th and 3 deep in the 4th quarter of a real game before we crown any one or any group the "best".
  3. Given that Manual is ranked ahead of X, they need to win this game against a 3A team. I say they do. 24-17
  4. If a strait split happened, would too have to get BOE/legislative approval?
  5. True. When the offense can't throw the ball... stack the box.
  6. Come on guys. Follow me! Let’s burn this bridge and then jump in the raging river! Now who’s with me?
  7. What about sportsmanship? Do you think it's OK to throw sportsmanship out the window in order to "intimidate" the visiting team? If the home administration condones their fans use of cursing, profanity, threats (including those from a 6 year old - shame), I think the KHSAA should step in. Is that the kind of environment a school or the association it belongs to promotes? Lack of administrative control... Safety is another issue. When the sidelines are so small (or water logged) to a point that the players/coaches cannot get out of the way of a tackle out of bounds, that is a safety issue. The game should be moved to a safer field. You can continue to view this as intimidation. I view it as very childish actions that no program should condone. It needs to be cleaned up.
  8. Sounds like the KHSAA should mandate acceptable standards for hosting a home football game. Sportsmanship, visiting team safety, and acceptable sidelines should be requirements. If not, the home team should lose by means of forfeit.
  9. A more detailed description: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/2007-07-29-hoover-investigation_N.htm
  10. Aid = tax paid education, lunch/breakfast program, transportation, books, etc... :walk: Or if you want, you could average the cost a public school student pays during the school year. Any student (public/private) that pays under that amount during the year would be classified as receiving aid.
  11. The real question should be why doesn't Moore provide this for their young men? :sssh:
  12. I hope I'm wrong. I'm not worried about Trinity scoring enough points to win the game (they will), but rather it's Eastern's offense that I'm impressed with. Last week their QB ran 27 times for 250 yards and 4 TD. Plus he was 9 for 17 and 140 yards with 1 TD through the air. Don't forget about the other RB - 14 times for 62 yards and 1 TD. That's nothing to sneeze at. I think we will win, but it will not be a blow out.
  13. Eastern will give the Rocks more of a game than some think. Their athletes are very good.
  14. Yes, and get this. I heard it was cancelled. :fight:
  15. Really? They can pound it with the best of 'em.
  16. Unless Ballard or Shelby prove otherwise, nope.
  17. ^ it rained in the JV game. Trinity scored 38. Remember, there will be NO MUD on the field.
  18. Besides Brohm, who else from T do you think would be able to play at the I-A level?
  19. Is there any question that both of these schools will have several Mr. Football candidates in the coming years? WOW!
  20. That information came from other X fans... I guess they are all on your side.
  21. I would love it. But I'm from a 6A school. I doubt a 1A school would be interested
  22. I have to nominate this for BGP Classics. This is an all time classic. Where do they get this stuff? Actually the JV scouting report read something like this: 1) put helmet on 2) see the X 3) hit the X 4) you win Too funny. :dancingpa
  23. I want to repeat what I said earlier. I want to commend the great effort from the Saint Xavier Tigers. They played their hearts out. Trinity played great too. What a great game by all! Thanks for the memories.
