  1. Anyone have a score?
  2. Glaser was 2nd round in 1997, not sure before that.
  3. While Corey's a fine player. Uhhhhhhhh, yeah, that's quite a stretch. IF you ever do see him put on a MLB uniform, there's some luck that needs to be involved, and a ton, a ton of hard work.
  4. Not for the pitcher it's not. He gets charged with an earned run.
  5. If the aforementioned schools wished to play in the game, they could. But their coaches had to be at the coach's meeting to nominate the players.
  6. The tourneys drag until towards the end of June as it is. If you are talking about a region final only, maybe. But I'd think they would need to start the tourney a week earlier to accomodate. I'd be for moving them up a week as it is.
  7. Makes perfect sense to me......same as baseball and basketball. Hard to argue with that.
  8. It was a straight draw between Conner, St. Henry, and Boone. Conner beat St. Henry, St. Henry beat Boone, resulting in a tie between the three.
  9. Conner's is: http://www.eteamz.com/connerbaseball/
  10. He did reach 1b, on the fielder's choice.
  11. Show some class.
  12. Conner won 11-1 in six.
  13. Teacher's get no bonuses. And it's not the teachers that advocate the testing.
  14. Yep........Lloyd was the better team on the field tonight. They fielded and hit the ball a WHOLE lot better than Conner did. .
  15. When and where was this game played?
  16. Don't play baseball. The team plays during the break, if you can't be there, you are letting your team down. No one said you can't go on vacation, you can't go on vacation AND play baseball. That's what I tell players.
  17. Absofreakinglutely.
  18. My question is, who the heck cares that the principal's sons play on the team? It has nothing to do with the situation Furman has brought to light? The issue is why was Kadetz cut?? Every time a parent questions me on a cut and brings up another member of the team, my answer is "we aren't here to discuss any other student athlete other than your son, now I will discuss the matter at hand and how it pertains to YOUR child". Furman dragging two other MINORS into the discussion should be grounds for his dismissal, as it can only do harm to the young men. If Mr. Kadetz has a problem with his son being cut, he has grounds to discuss the matter with the coach, which I assume he already has had discussions with, but didn't like the answer. Both Mr. Kadetz and Furman are the lowest of low. I agree with Bredman, superdad, get over it. Furman will never be on my dial again.
  19. How exactly can a school, when most are extremely cash strapped, find a postion when one does not exist?
  20. Agree wholeheartedly. I believe the law is, you can take up to a year off, and a school hast to "hold" your position for you, or rehire you back. If it's longer than a year, then the school can hire someone "permenantly" for that position. If someone was filling his shoes for more than a year, is it fair to dismiss that person from a position to rehire someone who VOLUNTARILY left the postion? IF he wants to really get back into teaching, he won't have any trouble at all finding a spot somewhere (I believe he teaches math, where there is a major shortage).
  21. Quality post.
  22. Now there's something I didn't know!!!!!!!
  23. What will be the ticket situation for the game? Will they sell them at the gate, or presale only?
