Mason got better as the season went along. The offense started to open up a little more towards the end of the season. I expect more of a spread offense next year to utilize his arm as they have numerous receivers to work with.

I'm trying to figure out why the need for this? Lzrd Tech and Battle have sleeves with grip on them as just standard sleeves are generally somewhat slick. Hence the reason you see a lot of players continue to wear the long sleeve cotton t-shirts. Lzrd Tech is legal at all levels, not sure about Battle. I know my son loves his Lzrd Tech sleeves as they help provide grip while saving his elbows from getting turf burns. With this change, now parents are going to be forced to buy their kids $50+ dollar shirts instead of the cheap long sleeve cotton t-shirts for when it's cold out.

As for Mulkey showing up, coaches do this to see how the player handles these types of games when they're likely on the bench for most of the game. Do they sit on the end of the bench not interested in the game? Are you conversing with people in the stands the entire game? Are they cheering on, encouraging, and helping their teammates? They can find a lot about the character of the player in these types of games. As for the game itself, ouch. Hopefully this was the reserves putting up those points and not the starters.

Which isn't an issue. My kids don't go to their districted school either. It's the varsity sports aspect and eligibility that comes into play.

I was talking to someone earlier that lived in DC for years and flew out of DCA and Dulles multiple times. She said the airport was never designed for the amount of traffic that it has today. Over the years, it has added so many direct flights to accommodate everyone so they don't have layovers like the common person. For the past handful of years, she said she will only use Dulles, because she said this really was only a matter of time with the amount of air traffic around there. I looked at the comparisons between DCA and CVG just out of curiosity. CVG sits on over 7000 acres compared to DCA's 860. CVG has 55 direct flights compared to DCA's 108. CVG averages 91 flights per day compared to DCA's 388. Add in the amount of military air traffic around DCA, and those skies are constantly full.

Supposedly air traffic control tried to make contact with the helicopter right before the collision telling it to go behind the plane. I say "supposedly" because I've only seen it reported once so far. This seems to be all on the helicopter, whether a malfunction or pilot error.
