Great - While Highlands is playing for a State Championship ICN - 6 is playing a semifinal game on top of the state game.

No - Having said that , anything can happen in any given game. A SK win over T would be huge, but not impossible. I give the edge to T cause of home field advantage.

Colerain would be very difficult for any team to play and prepare for. They run triple option on offense, with huge line splits. They isolate your defenders and block very well with big and quick linemen. They only run triple option , but they can do 3 things to you every play, and they do all three very well. They do not pass very well but when they do they usually catch the linebackers napping and hit a quick pass over the middle, with good recievers who can run after the catch. I think St X (KY) could definitely play with them and score on them . I would say the game would be a push. Colerain has an advantage because you dont play against this type of offense much if at all. Their defense is very good but not great. Their offense does put the ball on the ground but they usually recover their fumbles. This would be an interesting matchup IMO.

If playing each other would not benefit Bell and Corbin both then I would not play.

1960- Highlands victory over Louisville Male 26-20. Both teams went on to win state championships in their respective classes. Highlands in AA and Male in AAA. A Kentucky first where the smaller class team went head to head during the season against the larger class team and prevailed.

Then Trinity and X would just merge (TRIX) and regain their numerical advantage?

In 1915 Highlands first year of football the coach played in a game and was ejected as a ringer. I do not know if this was considered a forfeit.

I like it. You also have Bye weeks which leaves a Friday night available.

Head to Head - Highlands Vs Trinity 1969 - Trinity 20 Highlands 7 ( Very good Trinity team - I believe AAA champs) 2000 - Highlands 42 Trinity 29 ( Very good HHS team - Eventual AAA state champs) Margin of victory 13 points both times. Lets just call it a draw til we meet again. Happy Trails!

Beat Cincinnati St X in 1943 and claimed Greater Cincinnati Champions. To my knowledge have not played them since. Does that make Highlands 1-0 against Cincinnati St. X?

Highlands beat Male in a gamelike scrimmage 34 to 7 with the halftime score being 31-0 and Highlands playing with their 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks. (Cecil was hurt). Pretty impressive. ( Just thought I would throw Male into the picture since they are a Louisville school , and a very good one.)

Who gets Flaget's wins? Was Flaget absorbed by X or T or neither? Just wondering.:confused:

This is a guess. I will say defensive pass interference. Penalty is assessed 15 yards from the previous spot automatic first down for team A. I believe with the new rule change everything prior to the defensive pass interference is now legal?

Actually there could be a bunker under the field, In case of a National emergency, complete with sleeping quarters, medical facilities, meeting rooms and of course and indoor practice facility.

HHS played Trotwood Madison in the Kirk Herbstreit Ohio Vs. USA at UC's Nippert stadium and Trotwood had 3 recievers who were all very good. I believe at least one of them was 6'6" plus and could run. At least 2 of them are Div 1 prospects or already committed to a Div 1 school. I have not seen Bowling Green play, but HHS played against some very good talent top to bottom in that game and came out with a win.

Elizabethtown had a quarterback in the late 60's named Ernie Lewis I believe. He could really throw the ball and I believe went to UK on a full ride.

Most all star teams would have trouble playing against a team that has played together for a while under one system, especially the offense. I see an allstar team having trouble playing any good team. If you are saying hypothetically that an assembly of the best players in Kentucky would give you a team as good as Hoover, I would say absolutely yes.
