  1. From a Blue Bleeder, looks like the Cards are clicking. Good showing Cards.
  2. Your not REALLY for EKU are you EKU? I will be there around noon. You should stop by the tailgate. PM me if you want to come hang out for a bit.
  3. Does anyone know if Sammy Reed is getting any PT? He is a big O-lineman from Belfry's 04' championship team.
  4. I was very impressed with how physical Belfry was in week one. The o-line were VERY impressive. When Elkins completed his first little pass out in the flat to the TB on a 3rd and medium, I looked at the guy next to me and smiled. If Belfry can make plays through the passing game, they are going to be tought to handle. Based on what I saw last week, I think they can!
  5. Of course there would be cost, but it would be awesome!
  6. The time has come GURU. This site has been a huge success. IMO, it is time for this site to have a game of the week which is broadcast live via webcame on THIS SITE! Thoughts?
  7. I think it would be a nice idea to do as follows: Allow the members of this site to recommend running backs who they feel are worthy of top 25 All time honors. Take the top 50-100 tailbacks after there has been adequate time to deterimine who is in that class. Then let the members of this site vote on the top 25 All-Time, as ranked from best to 25. If 25 seems to unmanageable, go for the top 10. Have the discussion continue for the rest of the season, with a vote near the championship games. After the vote comes in, have the GURU honor the top 10-25 that have been honored by Bluegrasspreps from Papa Johns stadium at halftime It could be a neat honor and would certainly get Bluegrasspreps even more attention.
  8. Atta boy EKU... I am on there in a respectable spot too!
  9. Just a question to the Corbin faithful from a Belfry fan. Do you think Corbin could benefit by taking a more "Belfry-esque approach" by running, running, running, them going to play action? With a talent like Cashen, I would think Corbin could really be effective by calling running plays around 2-1 and mixing in a lot of play action, even on first down. Of course in order to be effective, the LOS would have to be controlled. IMO Corbin has the boys up front. It just seems they have gotten used to backpeddling on the snap.
  10. I like both of those backfields the best as well.
  11. How to Pirate fans expect to see the running back situation change this week? I for one felt May looked very good from the TB spot. How does Heath Varney factor in?
  12. After more thought, Russelll would prob beat East Carter by 5 tds, so I think they do the same to Boyd. Russell - 40 Boyd - 7
  13. Hey OneIJoe, haven't seen you in any of the Belfry threads this year. Where ya been? I like Breathitt by a TD in this one. Breathitt - 28 Pburg - 21
  14. Lets here some more about Lawrence Co. What kind of stats did the Lawrence passing game rack up in their opener? Who are the explosive players for the Bulldogs? Were they able to break big plays? How big and effective is County up front?
  15. Die hard UK fan here. I would say Andre is very slightly overrated at this point. I don't think he is 1st team All-American, but he is a top 5 QB.
  16. I think May could play MLB at the D-1AA level. He is a strong young man with a great frame and decent speed. Harmon is a very strong runner with a lot of ability, but a bit small in stature.
  17. Anyone else have any comments? Did PT look like a team poised to make a title run in 3a?
