BRING IT! I'm still stinging from the last time we played PRP first round in the playoffs. I hope Manual demolishes them.

Well, there's that. I haven't been to St. X's stadium yet. Trinity has the best modern facilities, but I grew up with Manual stadium, and wouldn't trade it for anything... the Pizza Box included.

1959 If I heard correctly, that's supposed to have been one of the best teams ever... possibly blown out of proportion, but at the time I could see it.

The Male-Manual game will be very telling of that... not just because it's the last game before the playoffs, either.

Oh WOW... I got a message on my phone while at work from 02ram asking me for updates for the game and I was thinking "why does he think I'm paying attention to the UK game???"

That's kind of scary... looks like both teams have been paying a little bit too much attention to UofL's defense. The fact that Manual's big d-line couldn't get much pressure on the QB (so it would seem) is not a good statement.

Congrats, X... if I had to pick a game to have gone to last night... it still would've been Manual, but one of these years I'll make it out to an X-T game!

Let's play nice boys and/or girls. It's just a high school football game, no need to get fiesty. Again, good job to both teams for a game that sounded pretty thrilling. And again, I hope I can actually see both teams in action against each other in the playoffs.

A disciplined Eastern team could be a real threat in the state, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I'm certainly a faithful Crimson, and I may argue about certain things, but I don't discount everything said. I unfortunately couldn't see this game but from everything I heard Manual did what they could. It's easier to call out a single coach or player when you play a team like X because EVERYONE has to be perfect in order to get the W. Nichols didn't lose the game... just like he didn't win the game against Male in 01 or against Trinity in 03, either. I'm not trying to call anyone out here, really, I'm just saying there are far too many factors involved, pattern or no pattern. Congrats X... I hope we see each other in the playoffs and with a different outcome!!! Rams, keep your heads up! The season has barely just begun!

Last time I heard that word it was used by Homer Simpson in the first Treehouse of Horror... why did I bring that up? I don't know. Let's have an injury-free game tomorrow for both teams, and come on Rams, let's get that much-wanted (and NEEDED for the proper R-E-S-P-E-C-T) victory against the Tigers!!!!

In no way can I compete with all the previous pro-Nichols posts, so I'll simply say that I like Coach Nichols, and never thought for a second that he didn't care about the players.

Manual loaded at JV??? I never pay much attention to Freshman and JV games because I usually expect them to be Manual losses when playing X or T. Athletes don't go to Manual... they're made there.

You know, I actually had forgotten about how bitter that rivalry was between T and Eastern, but looking back, these predictions make a lot more sense.

I've unfortunately been too busy to attend any games thusfar this season, and I haven't seen or heard anything particularly bad or good.

Hmmm... this thread looks awfully familiar to one a few years ago in which Trinity was coming off a loss to MBA and was going to "name the score" etc to a struggling Manual team... most remember how that turned out on that "black Friday". I still see a logical Trinity win, but I'm just saying, be careful not to let history repeat itself.

I hope so, too, believe me.

If this Eastern team comes in with confidence and some serious nostop effort, I see them making a game with Trinity... but in no way does T lose.

A few 'regulars' I know just couldn't make it out though any other time they would. Just a bad night for attendance I suppose.

I hope the rams win of course, and they probably have a decent chance. But thinking about it logically, St. X is just too deep and has gotten together really well with each game they've played, so I don't see what I want happening.

OUCH. I don't really care for that... St. X IS that good, and Male is going to want to play that much harder against Manual.

I heard Manual had a poor showing in the first quarter, but it's great to see them play hard to step it up! GO RAMS!!!
