I figured Greenwaver would have put the thread up already. Thanks for the updates!:thumb: I thought this would've been an easier win for Manual, but not surprisingly Meade didn't make it so. My source said Meade was very good at passing the ball, and the lines did well. Manual just had the players to keep things going on their side. But certainly Meade wanted some revenge for last year... luckily they didn't get it! GO CRIMSONS!!! Next is X in two weeks.

Do guys just not come out for the team, or do they cut? Is only playing 25 a motivational tool?

From what I heard, Meade is doing very well in the trenches. Manual's speed and depth are what's doing the job for the Crimsons.

I had been thinking the whole tape thing was an isolated incident so to speak, water under the bridge and whatnot. It doesn't matter. This was a series for the fans, and it was really good for both teams IMO. There's NO good reason WHATSOEVER to end thiis series.

Here's a question: does anyone think, assuming one of the lower planks of the current top ten in 4A loses, that Manual would make it onto the BGP top ten from a sound win on Friday? I'm pretty curious, not that rankings are everything, I'd just like to see them win.

I'm a little surprised there's not more thoughts on this game. This could be a really good game.

Meade comes off after a close win against Boone County while Manual surprised some people with a nice win against Warren Central. Who wins and why? I think at this point it's fairly safe to say Manual comes in as the favorite in this game (though earlier in the season it wouldn't have been so). I certainly doubt they're looking past Meade, though. Meade probably wants some good revenge for the two losses Manual dealt them last season, the second knocking them out of the playoffs (they should be thankful, X would've been next for them). I think it'll be pretty intense on the field, but Manual just keeps improving and gets comfortable by late in the third quarter. I'll say: Manual- 38 Meade- 14

My parents graduated from Western. And I believe Western was the very first team that Manual played when I was there (even though I had to be a spectator because they would only dress one or two freshmen a week for Varsity). So for me it's good to see them do well. I too would love to see them take 2A.

Yowza... it's not often a Louisville 4A team gets a wallopping from a Louisville 2A team.

Both teams coming off of losses worse than either wanted (not than anyone ever wants a loss). I think this will be a pretty interesting game. I'm usually wrong about my guess on how the game is played in regards to high scoring and low scoring, but I think this will be a very different game than last years (which was high scoring). Warren Central is still out to be a contender, and Manual wants to show that they're not as fargone as people think. So what's it going to be? I'll say: Manual- 21 Warren Central- 14

I agree that it would be great to get some new lights, I'm sure I've said it in threads long ago, but to claim that can't can't see the field is just plain ridiculous. I honestly never heard complaints about it until here on BGP, and I never had complaints about it as a spectator at my brothers' games. Time has passed and that's probably added to their deterioration, and again, I am an advocate of new lights, I am just not seeing them as big of a problem as others.
