Western is for real in AA!

 

I was not there but was told Ronnie Darden and Justin Collins both had around 225 yards and multiple TDs.

Congrats to Coach Preston, his staff and players. This win is a prime example of how much one cant read into the summer "7on7" games, bc Butler won that BIG back in JUNE, goes to show much much those things DONT mean. Great Job Western!!

Yowza... it's not often a Louisville 4A team gets a wallopping from a Louisville 2A team.

Justin Collins can fly. If there is a faster kid in the Commonwealth I would like to see him!

My parents graduated from Western. And I believe Western was the very first team that Manual played when I was there (even though I had to be a spectator because they would only dress one or two freshmen a week for Varsity). So for me it's good to see them do well. I too would love to see them take 2A.

Got to say, this one shocked me. Western could make some noise in 2A this year. Good to see Louisville 2A on the rise.

Would love to see a Western vs Mercer matchup. Two quality teams that are well coached and have good athletes.
