  1. I thought LSU lost the game by settling for the FG when they were 2 inches from the endzone. Even if they stop you, they are bottled up inside the 1 and odds are they will have to punt giving you excellent field position.
  2. You have to love it when a team outside the power conferences goes undefeated, while beating a pretty good team a the bowl game. It just goes to show you that you don't have to recruit a bunch of 4 star player to compete. You just have to be able to evaluate talent well and have a solid coaching staff.
  3. Maybe I was the one confused. The same player was involved in both altercations, although someone said the first one was called a flagrant foul and not a technical. I thought a flagrant was a technical though, but I'm not to up to date on high school rules compared to collegiate rules. It was an ugly game that was really not much fun to watch in my opinion.
  4. The QB play on the Big 10 has been strong in the Bowl Games this year.
  5. I believe that was a part of Knox Central's game plan to try and take Taylor out of his game. That double technical was a huge play in the game. Knox Central is the better team at this point and were much more physical in the paint, which Corbin will struggle with this year. On a side note, I thought that 2 technical fouls on a player meant an ejection, but a player for Knox received 2 and continued playing. Also, what is the rule for kids leaving the bench and coming on the floor during an altercation?
  6. How can the replay official miss that fumble?:idunno:
  7. Let's hope that Matt Jones doesn't post his telephone number...
  8. Taylor and Faulkner put on quite a show last night, but Corbin's supporting cast looked to be better than Mercer's. When Taylor is hitting the 3 ball, he is virtually unstoppable unless you double or triple team him, then his teammates, especially Stewart and Sanders, are capable of hurting you as well.
  9. Already got your excuses ready I see.:lol2: Wonder how they did so well against elite competition in Florida?
  10. UK needs to play more zone, struggled in their man to man today. They shoot a few too many jumpers as well, but this team has a lot of potential.
  11. What I liked on Wednesday at the City of Palms | HoopSeen Here is a story from day 1 of the tourney.
  12. Taylor shot 66.7% from the field and 88% from the FT line, scored 37 points. 13 rebounds and 7 assists. He signed D1, the only player in the 13th Region to be offered in this class I believe.
  13. I believe it was done to convince recruits that he is staying at FAU.
  14. I thought that Clemson had the best defense that I saw this year, and as much as I hate to admit it, Alabama's offense was better when Kiffin was there. I just don't see the Tide making enough explosive offensive plays to beat Clemson.
  15. UK has too many WR's as it is. They need to concentrate of the defensive side of the ball.
  16. UK needs to sign more defensive linemen and less WR's.
  17. So are we assuming that Wilson is going to be the starter? Seems a whole lot premature to me.:idunno:
  18. I think Knox Central is top 15 anyway, possibly top 10. Corbin is ranked a little high in my opinion. Teams with some size are going to cause them all kinds of problems.
  19. Kentucky football’s Courtney Love wins national community service award | Lexington Herald Leader Congrats to a student/athlete who really gets it. :thumb:
  20. Trent Taylor fights illness to become Jimmy Garoppolo's third-down target - San Francisco 49ers Blog- ESPN I have to brag on former La. Tech receiver Trent Taylor due to being friends with his parents. He has taken advantage of every opportunity he has been given, La Tech was his only D1 offer, and has run with it. He has always been considered too small and a maybe a step too slow, at least that's what UK thought, but keeps on proving the doubters wrong.
  21. No defense plus no discipline for UK equals a win for Northwestern.
  22. I didn't really have any problem with the officiating in the game. There were so many close plays such as these that it's understandable that some are going to be missed in real time and that one side or the other is going to feel slighted. On most of those plays, Boyle Co. was playing aggressively and trying to make plays, which is the way they played the entire game and a big factor in why they won convincingly. Boyle's OL hurt Corbin a whole lot more than any calls that may have went the other way. I was very surprised how easily they made it look controlling the line of scrimmage.
