UK still needs to concentrate on getting better defensively. If they improve their defensive effort 25% and work on doing the little things better, such as FT shooting, blocking out and eliminating careless turnovers, they can make a run in the NCAA Tourney. They have offensive deficiencies, but in my opinion, but those can be overcome if they improve in these areas that they can control.

I hope that Middlesboro gets to move down to 1A as that should help them to rebuild their program. They cannot compete with the teams that are currently in their district(Danville, Somerset and LCA).

Your model shows 6 teams in Class 4A District 8 - Clay County, Corbin, Harlan County, Knox Central, Letcher County Central, Perry County Central, but looking at the other districts, I'm not sure they can avoid putting 6 in this one. I suppose you could move Corbin to District 7, although that would put 6 in that district then.

Is it possible that he was trying not to hit him before the ball arrived so that he wouldn't get a pass interference penalty? They needed to just let him catch it and then tackle him in bounds.

Tubby is my all time favorite UK coach. I always thought that his inability to recruit top 10 type talent led to his falling out of favor with some UK fans. I also believe that his personality just would not allow him to cater to 18 yr old kids and also had a hard time connecting with them, which in turn help create his recruiting problems. Coach Cal and Pitino had better overall results, but they both tended to get on my nerves a lot.

I didn't understand Georgia's thinking on their RB rotation(Swift would have gotten the carries that Michel didn't get if I were calling the plays last night) at all, plus they were too conservative offensively in the 4Q. It seemed as though they started trying to run the clock too early and it may have cost them in the end.
